Thanks for the help everyone! I ended up getting these for my first pair of pole shoes 🙂

Thanks Mary Ellyn! I might add rhinestones to the heals myself, much cheaper that way 🙂

I agree with JeHanne – There is nothing wrong that can come of you saying something. Notify her, and hope that she talks with her parents about it

Hi Scorpion, and welcome to the world of pole! To answer your questions,
1. I always feel silly when trying a new move! I feel comfortable with the basics I've mastered, but whenever I try something I haven't done before or have a lot of practice with, I don't feel sexy at all. It's normal!
2. My muscles felt like TOTAL spaghetti the first couple weeks of pole, because I had no prior workout experience. It will get better!
3. Never experienced this – hopefully someone else can answer!
4. You will learn to trust yourself more, and when you do, you'll loosen your grip. I death gripped my pole when I was first learning. Once I practiced more, I started to loosen my grip. You'll find you get a better spin, and there is less strain on your wrists! It will come with time.
Hope that helped! And keep poling!

Lil Mynx probably has the safest cheapest pole. Their standard pole is $189 http://www.lilmynx.com/index.php/dance-poles-accessories/dance-poles/the-original-lil-mynx-dance-pole-colors.html

Yes! Your profile says you are from Omaha.. do you frequent Denver? Where do you pole?

Glycerine is a humectant – One of the great things about humectants is that they will pull water out of the air and deposit it onto your skin. If you live in a veryyy low humidity area, though, glycerine can pull moisture from the epidermis to use on the dermis (so, it's a net zero).

Another Q – People who have won, how many views did you have?

Just cliked on all the ones above for this go around – Here are mine – I LOVE the style, but would they work for poling? I've never poled in shoes before

Hi Donna! I'm a beginner too, I have been poling for 5 months. When I first started, I couldn't do a push up, and had problems doing a basic fireman. Since then, my arm strength has grown immensley! I don't lift weights or anything, just have been poling regularly, and you will soon notice a big difference. I can do a couple of pole ups now. Keep at it girl!

Thanks for the feedback! I was getting sucked in by the "famousness" of their instructors, but gosh, I just don't think it's worth the price tag. Does studioveena have free trials often?
