    Oh cool ta 🙂
I can do it, no where near as pretty in these videos. It kinda feels like it won’t work til you actually bite the bullet and do it. I’ll try and post a video soon :p but be warned my video wont be neat and tidy hahahaha

I think I know what you mean… I have that problem in general, actually when I’m practicing pole is the only time I don’t seem to do it. :/
Try not giving yourself time… try playing your favourite song, the one that really speaks to you, sing along and don’t concisely think about what your doing, then walk straight up, focusing on the words of the song and just go, no thinking. Maybe just walk around the pole and step away, do that a couple times then try step arounds a couple times then just surprise yourself spur of the moment… fireman. Try and trick your mind before it can go “wow, uhh no”. Hope this helps and good luck, you’ll get it 🙂

MissTaeo… that’s adorable! She will own the monkey bars when she’s older!!! My kids are bigger (11, 8 & 7) they want me to have a pole room built onto the house! Hahaha not that I don’t love that idea :p they want a full mirrored wall, video cameras in each corner :/ and 4 poles (that’s one each they reckon lol). I need to win lotto hahaha

I’m not game to let them play on it when I’m not watching Kiyah, my youngest just realised he’s strong enough to invert a little while ago, I told them if anyone plays on it unsupervised I’ll take it out of the loungeroom and they all moaned NOOOOOOOO…please don’t.
🙂 hoping that works. they are even proud of their little hard spots on their hands (calluses) :p

    That’s so cute Oakmoma 🙂
Your daughter sounds like my son, he’s as obsessed as I am, lol. As soon as he’s home from school it’s off with the shirt and up the pole he goes. 🙂 he even helps me count reps when I’m doing exercise, I think I have my very own PT on my hands 🙂 our children are going to be very strong!

    Thank you Shoogstandley,
yes! any and every kiddo that comes to my house asks the same thing (my poles in my loungeroom) they all love it. Maybe I should try and get some classes run in town so more people can see what it’s all about :p

Normally I don’t care what outsiders think, I guess because I’m fairly new to the pole world it’s good to get opinions of others who have real understanding of what pole is all about 🙂
I agree it’s been great for my daughter and my boys love when they can feel themselves getting stronger, really what they do on it is no different than a monkey gym, just vertical 🙂 and when I started I explained that it’s for fitness – kinda like yoga on a stick, they got a giggle out of that.
