Hey gal i believe she is right…. honestly I have suffered from depression badly too…. but now I can find ways to deal and spend majority of my time happy.. but I am also being treated for it and have a great support system… but she is right he wont do something until he hits rock bottom … and until he wants to get help for himself… theres nothing shameful about getting help.. ex. if i had a broken leg I would get it fixed right? well same thing for depression… " his brain doesnt work properly, so he should be treated and get help so he can help himself anyways I wish u the best of luck!! xoxo

Thanks! yeah due to money restraints I figured I would make a program for myself at home, I have those bands, exercise ball, I have a chin up bar and a pole and little set of weights .. but they dont have large weights and i have 5 pound ankle ones too!! I know a lot about muscles and theoretically I can create my own work out plan… I was just wondering if people used just pole or if they seek other kinds of strength training instead… I am just gunna be starting soon, I just started the valentino brothers stretching dvds for splits.. i do one dvd each week cuz that was what was recommended….. though I am planning to get veenas lessons as well so I can improve faster.. I still feel like a beginner even though at my studio I am further along.. I want myself to feel more comfortable with dancing with strength and grace.. Problem is I know a few moves from different levels.. but i dont feel i have the strength or flexibility and I need to learn the dancing part… I am hoping veenas lessons help for all of that.. I really think If i start strength training that I will feel more comfortable once i learn way more moves too.. we will see!!! thanks guys!

wow !!!!! thanks guys!!! I find it so hard right now being a student paying for extra kinds of classes .. right now i pay for classes at aradia fitness then am hoping to do studioveenas lessons and hoping that thats enough to get my goals! :S

I am 24 years old, and have been poling off and on for 2-3 years…. I originally started due to a lovely lady named tara karina….. I thought it could give her a bit of relief from her life maybe it would help me… I went from never working out to working out ALL THE TIME haha but I ended up stopping for a year or two just due to lack of time… even now I only have time for once a week.. But I LOVE it so much… It helps me mentally in so many ways… I have more confidence then I ever had…. and theres nothing like working out when I had the worst day…. I started working out mainly to free myself mentally from my depression…. and with meeting so many amazing ppl through poling I hope to never stop 🙂 its special to me because it gave me something I years ago thought I could never achieve…. which was happiness I LOVE POLING lol

do you drink a lot of water… apparently thats supposed to help prevent cramping, also do calf exercises that might help as well

I have a hard time with that too! I am a full time student and every term they flood us with more. I constantly just dont have time and then by the time I do it feels like I have to start over! So I feel your pain! But I find watching other pole videos motivates me and going to a pole studio. Because one your paying for it so you dont want to not go, and 2 you get to meet other ppl who motivate you to work harder. Right now I go two days a week and I just started doing that… before it was one day a week…. but my membership allows two days… poling at home I find really difficult to get motivation, but when i get to the more harder levels I will have things I will want to practice at home just so by the time I go into class next I hopefully can get it down pat! anyways 🙂 yup thats how I feel, I find the first little while…. you dont want too but u force urself to goo and then it just becomes an addiction lmfao I love it … I dont pole as much as I want too and i am definitely not flexible… but everything takes time right? I figure when i am not a student.. I will have lots more time 🙂
