Princess I have taken classes with Michula in the past. I am taking Dereick Piersons Contoriton, Pole cleaning for Dangerous Curves, Michelle Natoli’s turn me on/get me off, Jamilla’s spinning out, Phoenix’s Strictly Dance, Pole cleaning for the ISPF. I will also be at the Pole Sport Championship! I would love to meet up with people. I am actually doing my wedding tastings while I am down there, but would love to sight see hit the local hot spots in my down time. I am the only one coming from the Pittsburgh contingent and all of my Cleveland girls have backed out :-(. My email is jessica.rawson@att.net if anyone wants to meet up!

@Jezebel I have friends who hash in Colorado Springs and my fiance’s family lives out that way. If you ever hash out there tell Dickens Cider, Dinosoreass said hi!
@RobynPoleDancer looks like we are a minority! Do you ever come state side? We are thinking about doing the H2H3 next year at Hedo in Jamaica or Babe’s Hash Cruise. On On!! Dinosoreass PGH-H3

@Chem You know me well, seriously though, I can’t be the only one.
@grayeyes I don’t run. Every kennel is different but almost all have walker/jogging options. -
I might not be in chat tonight. I have a wicked migraine. Have a blast

Alright Ladies!
Every other Thursday I drink and run with the hash. So lets say Tuesday & Thursday at 8 PM EST in the studioveena chat. As a bonus I can do this Friday 8/8/14 at 8:00am EST I will post on here about bonus days, as they vary with my schedule. Feel free to do the same. See you in the veena chatroom. -
Putting together a tenative schedule will probably be the easiest. Chemmie what time on Tuesday & Thursday evening work best for you? What time works for everyone?
-
Exciting stuff!! I will have to join in on chat more 🙂

I am late to the party, but HI!!!! I am in Pitt also
-
I feel like PDC and Vertical Dance's moves where in my original list, forgot all about them.
Thanks!

If you can find it on pole dance dictionary. I probably have it. I also have a printed out list I made a while ago floating around my house, which I think is mainly made up of moves from the fore mentioned and Veena.
-
Nope. I never borrowed any of them. For some reason I thought Corey had it? Could be wrong.
-
SQUATS! They give you an ass and will have your blood pumping pretty quick.
-
Sorry to hear about your injury. Hope you have a speedy recovery!

When you say completely extended do you mean over-extended? Are you engaging. Most women hyper extend when extending also it is damn near imposible to lift with the arms straight without a little bend. You can also injure yourself by not engaging. Think shoulders up to ears and roll them back and down. Keep them there. You are no engaged :-p.

If she wants to be taken seriously in the pole world (plans to compete) it would be hard if she competed in stripping/exotic dance competitions.

It is not like you are trained to be an exotic dancer and what a majority do is wrong anyways. They have to relearn from ground zero when they take classes. I would pose this question to the instructor. It does not seem fair or logic based and it is discriminates, after all pole dancing is composed of women who are supposed to be accepting of sexuality and their bodies. The only reasoning I can think of is they think someone will have an edge.

I started doing yoga a couple times a month my freshmen year and could touch the ground. Sometime around my sophomore year I started dancing. I did not stretch I did not work towards splits. I kept trying to do them in my sets and one day I was flat. I know this is not the norm at all, but I think a lot can be said about just being warm and working it in those movements. I have also heard one yogi say she stayed flexible because "she never bent her knees to put on her underwear" it is such a minor thing but it could make a HUGE difference.

I may have to actually participate. I think Black Velvet is a bit over done. If you need inspiration hit your favorite stripclub :-p.

It seems like a bunch of people have already addressed the subject of your calorie intake being WAY to low so I will not go into that. I also saw posture was addressed. However, I listened to a pretty decent podcast about bio-hacking and hormones. http://www.fatburningman.com/dr-sara-gottfried-hormones-for-men/. It briefly addresses the issue of working out to much and to hard and how it can actually raise your cortisole levels. Maybe you have a bit of that going on also. I would also suggest NOT dieting make healthy changes. Dieting messes with your metabolism like crazy and it can take your body a while to recover. I hope this helps and I am not repeating anyone. Eventually I will read through all of the posts.
