    OK, I’ll follow trough in about a week. The upside to this is that it gives me time to clear a little space in my living room, and allows me to work more on floor dancing.

    I’ve seen two tutorials on youtube, they were great, however neither showed how to take the pole down (or how to erect it by yourself). I’m not complaining though, when the pole does arrive, I will be referring to those videos.

    Just like me to be impatient and not want to get it done myself, and not wait for the hubby.

    It’s not here yet by the way, I’m just itching with anticipation, and want to pounce on it as soon as it arrives. I ordered the chrome 55 xpert pole,

    Now, taking it down, has that posed any problems for you? I’m in the position where I *have* to take it down with each practice, because the layout of the apartment just doesn’t allow me to keep it up. I really wish I could keep it up though, and pole to my hearts content…..

    ::sigh::

    Amyxshi does teach at Shokra studios. Her classes are fun, a little tough for me (but that’s because I’m uber stiff, and kinda big, the ULTIMATE beginner). She has great flow, and a great energy, I recommend you check her out. Here is the site for the studio http://www.shockrastudio.com/

    Good luck, NYC is a wonderful place to pole.

    There is a wonderful site called The Shape of a Mother, where women of all ages post pictures of themselves postpartum. It’s a wonderful site, practically brought me to tears. I decided to post pictures on it after seeing so many courageous women doing the same. I recommend checking it out…
