  • I still am going to get them to replace the 3 foot piece cause that part seems to be the issue with the wobble. I connected it up with the smaller pieces and made it tight and now no wobble. But I couldn't get the 3 foot no matter waht I did to stop.,

  • Well, I seem to take care of the wobble issue so all is good there but I still hate that plastic slider tube over the bolt at the bottom. I would love to top load it but the hole for the pin is in the piece for the bolt there fore it would be on spin all the time. How are you all top loading and making it static if you want?

  • I decided I am selling this pole and getting an Xpole. Done with it.

  • I decided to put the pole together finally after being bummed about the plastic. First,  I was going to put the bolt at the top but I want to chose if I want it on spin or static and with it at the top you can't do that. So I am stuck with the ugly sleeve. THEN, it wobble bad at the joints. This sucks. I would not recommned this pole to anyone.

  • So I talked to Ken from Platinum and discussed my concerns, Here is what he said. That the plastic which he called Poly Carbonate (which is plastic) is the same as the material used in bullet proof vests. They have had problems with the heavy metal plates damageing ceilings and the plates falling on people's heads.  (How the hell are they falling on people's heads if they are installed properly, but what ever, ok falling on heads…) And in fact in costs more to make these than the metal ones. So I am going to give him the benefit of the doubt put up my new pole and go for a whirl. I am probably going to try some hard core tricks that will put serious pressure on it and have someone spot me in case I bring it down. My old super pole could handle it just fine so this one better do the same. I will report back if anyone is interested.

  • Really? Complaints about them being heavy? My main concern is first, safety. And plastic is not going to be as strong as metal. Then quality. The plastic parts are going to get so banged up and lousey looking with time no doubt. It is just so cheap looking to me. They could at least offer both metal and plastic and let me have the choice.

My last concern is how heavy it is going to be to cart around. Which I know most usually use something with wheels to get it around.
