I ditto on LadyJean!!! There’s was a weirdo guy in the chat room a couple of nights ago. There were only the 2 of us and he was creepy…it was obvious that he was not a poler and was not looking for someone to chat about poling.

I just bought the moon cup on Amazon! I did some research and the moon cup is one of the cup that uses surgical silicon, softer material, and it contains no dye color.
Im gonna give it a try and let you ladies know…oh…sometime in June…on how it went…LOL But I’m excited about it!! Pads leaks and tampon is ruining the Ph in my body!!

@ amy – Very good point!! I still have a hard time lifting up my legs when they are straight, but it's definitely easier when my I curl my tailbone!!

In my first pole class (all spin pole…i never tried static) I learned ballerina spin, chair spin, firemen and firemen pullup.
It was love at first spin for me…lol
Strengthening exercise are good but sometimes simple tricks after warmup
are enough to make them want to come back for more…lol -

The last time I did an effortless splits was when I was 2 yrs old…lol
I just started to work on my splits last week. I tried to stretch an hour every night: left, right, front…alternate every 5 min. (I use MaxiFlex and just stretching on the floor)
I can see improvement already!! Not a lot but a couple of inches. I hope in a couple of months I’ll be able to do at least one kind of splits.
@ Masked Loopy – When you said “lunged”, you mean you try to put your face/chin touching your knee?

@ Masked Loopy II – Thanks! I just ordered a tube of Tite Grip on Amazon…I'll try to use that before putting iTac2 on. I hope it'll work, I reeeeally want to love iTac2 because it's so sticky…but it just doesn't work if I can sweat over it…sigh.

There were 6-7 girls in the room (all newbies) all doing an invert at the same time and she was standing at the end of the room looking at us. I was REALLY scared https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif…and I had to force myself to let go of the pole to do the Crucifix (no crash mat). I think it'll be a long while before I try that move again…I'm afraid to crack my skull…lol
About subscription – does the rate gets pro-rate if it starts in the middle of the month?

Last night in class, I had great difficulty doing a sun-dial. I can't lift both of my legs up to a 90 degrees…this tells me I REALLY need to work on my core before I try anymore invert!! sigh…
Question – Do Veena's lessons have to start at the beginning of the month? Or you can start in the middle of the month and she just charges every 30 days? Last night was my last class in that studio, I would like to start Veena's lessons soon…especially on arm and core strengthening.

Hey Ladies who used iTac2 – I got a Level 3 sample from Peter. I used it on Brass pole last night. It was weird…my hands feel REALLY sticky (too sticky?), but apparently I sweat through it (I even left sweat AND sweat print all over the pole) I end up using Mighty Grip on top of the iTac2…still didn't work….I had to wipe my hand after every move.
Is it because of the level I'm using (is level 2 really better for hands?) or the material of the pole or I just sweat too much?? I heard Tite Grip is a good anit-sweat product. Anyone tried using Tite Grip with iTac2??

@ vickiezoo- yeah, I’ve seen friends who didn’t get a job offer because of tattoos and piercings…and the one that get tattoos AFTER the job offer got pulled over for a “talk” about company’s image….

@ sues – not sure if you read any of my post….but I'm sort in the same boat. I LOVE interacting with girls in class….but I think the pace is going TOO fast…(learning inverts after 2-3 one-hour class??)

I drink Almased and I only do it for a week (first 2 days you only drink the shake after that replace 2 meals a day with the shake.)
I lose maybe 7-10lbs per cycle and I don’t gain them back unless I start eating crap food continuously again…pizza…burgers…cheese…ice-cream…and did I mention ice-cream???
But, have to say…it’s TOUGH! I get all sorts of weird cravings when I’m on that diet!
