I think you need to remember that one on one any where, even in fitness, is aprox $80 per hour with an experienced trainer.  This is standard. If someone was charging less, I would question their expertice.  I dont think paying around $80 for a one on one is out of line.  To be honest, I think pole lessons are even more specific than personal training at a gym.  If you hired a trainer that was "sports specific" you would be paying even more than that.

I will try that, it was recommended to me to do so.  Hope it will help, but also not make it impossible to unlock.

    Thanks for the advice

I will take a picture when I get back to the studio. It looks like the old screw they had, but you push it down now instead of screwing it

No, what he said is that it would be very hard to put it back in spin.  I would have to unscrew each pole again to push the button down

Wondering if any studio owners have these new lil minx rotators with the push button to unlock.  Every time we use them in class, they get unlocked anytime we slide down the pole and accidentally sit on the button or hit it in a spin or coming out of an invert.  Then they are hard to pull up, we have to use pliers to do so.  Its unsafe (especially for beginners) and disruptive in class if we are working on routines or anything for that matter.

I contacted the company but they said Im the only one  with this issue, that no other studio with them has any problem and the only solution is to tighten the little screw so I cant put it in spin mode anymore.  The problem is I teach spin in classes as well and need them to work properly.

    Any insight would be great.

    Thanks

I have 5 lil mynx poles at my studio and I have to say that the grip is awesome.  I have always used brass poles and have had the stainless ps poles as well as the chrome x poles.

I love love the grip on these lil mynx.  From day one, the girls have raved about how much better they can grip even better than the brass.

I also have never had a problem with the poles moving.  You definitely need to make sure you get it nice and snug when putting it up.

I have decided to sell my static and am getting all rotators now.  Cant wait 😉

Make sure the pole sits at your waist and does not press on the ribs

Yes, I have had quite a few people tell me about injuries from the Allegra.  I had one pro tell me her partner actuall broke two ribs and was off for a VERY long time 🙁

    Def not worth it.
