Becuz of my dizzy problem ( Ive had vertigo several times) I wanted a slower but smooth spin. I just wanted it to keep going! Donnalee has the same pole and she goes round and round and round at the top! Must be something Im doing…

Thanks! It spins well at the bottom…I get kinda dizzy but not too bad. One move i was doing…I couldnt stop it and had to yell "help" for my daughter to stop it lol!

kareno I took belly dance as well and you are correct! It does help! For example, I learned the body wave in bellydance so I was familiar with that move for pole.

I have performed in dance recitals and our instructor always says that no one will know u messed up besides you. I know that pole can be different with all of the moves etc. but just keep going with it and add to it if u have to. Solos are scary but they are the easiest to add-lib….I am probaby not spelling that rite ….good luck!
For dizziness, I just walk in the opposite direction of the spin when I land. A fellow veener gave me this advice and it works for me!

Carrie I love mine and I can do rite and left spins on it. It connects together with ezonnect and I really have to pull ….I mean twist and pull to get it apart. I think U will love it as well! Ask for Staci.

I now have a brand new, shiny, scratchless pole and a goodie bag to compensate for the wait (hand grip, microfiber towel, Live Once Video)! I am happy!

I just cannot make the appt….dont know how.
Today he was walking better but it is day to day. One day we came home and he had been on the ground for a long time I could tell…he had used the bathroom all around him but he was happy to see us. He needs someone there with him but all of us work. Basically he is just old. My mom has trouble getting up too and says she knows what he is going thru but hers is arthritis and she has family members with her. I have never seen anyone or anything die and I know I wont be able to watch .:(

Do u have the 3.0 which is the new one? This one has lots of great reviews. The 2.0 didnt from what i have read. I really like it too.

Yes! I got one several weeks ago. My husband used a rubber mallot and got it in no problem becz he is stronger than me! They are wedged together so tightly becuz there were probs with the old one being loose and catching heels. I sweated for a long time before just asking him. He sort of pulled the next to last piece aside and somehow hit it and it jumped into place. If it still wont fit it could be something else rong but not sure. I also read to put the pieces in the sun to warm them a bit. So the next time i used it it went rite in, but I took it out and had the same prob again. Have u taken the pieces out and rearranged them? I did and everything fit except the last….didnt matter which piece…just the last. Is there a strong guy around that can help u? They LOVE the challenge. Seriously, he did it in about two minutes and i had been slaving over 45!

I bought two equipment mats from walmart. They are by gold's gym and I use them under my Star Stand Alone. Im looking to add sheets or something to in order to hide the basic garage stuff. I love the garage!

Trying to get used to spin mode…omg. I really like this pole. There were a couple of scratches on the base but I called after hours help and they told me to send fotos. They were very nice and I will update.
