this just gives me a stomach ache https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_puke_r.gif One of the main reasons i fell in love with pole dancing so much was because of the supportive community. Just like Lian said, USPDF’s mission as it states on their website is to "As a pole dance federation, our vision is to create a network for pole dancers and studio owners" how is what they are doing here in line at all with their so called mission?? this is gross to me and makes me not even want to attend the competition or have any affiliation with USPDF. But from the beginning my reasoning for going to this competition was not for the profit of USPDF but to SUPPORT my community, something Wendy obviously knows nothing about. So in this case i will suck it up and go, but only to support the wonderful and talented dancers who are competing and hope that by this time next year there will be another outlet for these fab women to compete in. Just like Az said, i do only know this side of the story, but i have heard negative things from multiple people in the past about USPDF and Wendy, so this just solidifies everything for me. So I totally had a dream about the pole jam lastnight. I dreamt that we all just hung out talking, laughing, drinking and bullshitting and we all forgot to pole because we were having so much fun! LOL
LMAO Sissy! I have been thinking the same exact thing!! We are all going to be so excited to meet each other we are going to forget all about the pole jam lol!!

Well I was just wondering who of you are staying at a hotel? Results I am going alone to the pole jam but the problem is now i Have to figure out a way of transportation from VA to the pole Jam. Plus how many of you are staying at a hotel from friday? Do you have a spot for one more girl? I promise i dont snore!!! hahaha. Thanks Sissy!! I’ll be at Aloft right down the street from X-Pose. I also just wanted to get an idea for who will be around Friday night, I am debating whether or not to come on Friday, A: because it will break up my driving a little bit & B: it would be great to make a nice weekend out of my trip if there will be things going on or people to chill with. Sissy and Roxy I know you guys will be hanging out at the strip club on Friday which sounds like a blast, but I don’t want to be a 3rd (or 5th lol) wheel if no one else is planning on going. So I guess everything is pretty much taken care of, there’s nothing else really to handle cept details about Friday and Saturday. I really would like to hang out with you gals on Friday so E if you want to split a hotel Friday night I’m happy to do that. Should we take a role call for who wants to go to Pole Pressure? Does anyone have any other ideas as to what to do after the jam? Dinner, drinks etc? I am totally down for whatever. What is the general consensus?

It’s official! I’m coming! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif The cheapest flight I could find were flying in and out on weekdays…which means I am making a 4 day trip of it! I will be giving workshops at Chic Physique on Friday the 18th and Sunday the 20th and also doing one workshop at Pole Pressure on sunday! I’m just happy you are coming!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif There is an Amtrak stop either right near BWI airport or actually in the same place, but if you go to the Amtrak website it’s under "Baltimore- BWI Thurgood Marshall Airport" but you would have to make a transfer at Penn Station, NYC. Hope this helps!!

also Sascha, just throwing it out there cuz i know this is a long trip for you by train or bus, you could always take Amtrak to Poughkeepsie Station and i can pick you up from there and we can drive down together so it would break up your ride a little. You could even ride down Friday night if you wanted and bunk at my place and we could drive down Saturday morning. Let me know what you think!

Hey Ladies!! so i’m all in! i found a hotel on the same block as XPose that is really nice and cheap! so im going to book it asap… i just wanted to see if there is anything going on on Friday night or if I should just plan to come down Saturday morning…?? I’m pretty sure I’m going to drive so it should take me about 5hrs… let me know what you guys think… thanks!!!
