Thanks for the offer. But I’m sure everyone on here will be happy to know I can finally shut up about buying my first pole! LoL
I bought a used SSA for $600 on Saturday.

Nothing but a 5% discount. The 10% SV discount is no longer. Guy didn’t even realize the website read “order before July to get the 3.0 price”. Which was only a meesly $20 savings anyways. Nothing compared to an overall price of over $800 before $186 shipping.

Can anyone tell me if the vaulted mount for Lil Mynx has the plant hook look to it? I know the standard mount does.

Someone please tell me to shut up, order something, and work on a nice beginner stretching video all weekend to prepare for its arrival next week 😉

So far, all you guys have done is make me want to get a 10 ft SV pole with a vault mount as well as a used SSA!!! I found two and both are about 7 hours away. But I’m so tunnel visioned that it oddly doesn’t sound like a waste of a whole Saturday spent in my car! As long as I can have one now now now.

If you JUST ordered your SSA, don’t they have a promo right now for Pole Armour?

Thanks you all for the replies! I guess no one is going to try to talk me into purchasing a Star Stand Alone, huh? LoL

Thanks for the input everyone! I appreciate it. I must say that I’m dreaming of a Star Stand Alone. Possible the translucent with lights underneath. Anyone have one of those? Or have used the Pole Armour?

What I know for sure is that I’ll go with a 45mm. The thought of screwing into the ceiling doesn’t sound fun. Especially when my lease is up the end of March and I’m uncertain if I’ll renew yet. But Veena made the comment that freestanding stages may not be the best for beginners.

And how long does shipping take on average for the SV pole to arrive? Any rush options?

I’d be sold on a SV pole except my bedroom ceiling is 8ft and flat and the other room I want to use is anywhere from 9.6ft and up as well as vaulted. Sadly, it wouldn’t allow me to go back and forth 🙁

I have been lurking Craigslist daily for over a month! Is Lil Mynx the only pole with an indiscreet top mount into the ceiling with only one screw? I’d love to be able to go from using a pole at 8 feet in my flat bedroom to 11 feet in my vaulted ceiling living room. But PS and X-pole both have massive, ugly mounts and LM only have one piece options with no extensions 🙁

I’m starting wonder if I’m over thinking all of this (obviously!). I’ve been close minded to any static pole I’ve come across. But how long did everyone “pole” before they started spinning? It just occurred to me that I might be pitiful at first. Clinging to the pole sweating profusely and realizing the beginner in pole definitely means BEGINNER!!!

I just put two and two together. We’ve been emailing each other. I was the one who talked about Joliet and having no idea how to haul a pole that long. Small world!

Either 8.8 up to 9.6, depending on where I put it. I have vaulted ceilings that probably go up to around 20 feet at the highest peak.
