You have to get a good hand over hand rhythm going so that u aren’t hanging off each arm too long. The hardest part is holding your legs out in the v. I started working on it with my legs straight down first and then started progressing to lifting them out in front.

I agree that it’s practice. I just did a couple every day and in the end I got it. I use cup grip and was taught to imagine that you are trying to pull the pole over your shoulder. Keep at it, you will get there! X

I just put mine up like 10 mins ago. I really like it, it’s going to be so much fun. You do have to have the room really dark for the lights to show up properly though.

I ordered one from the ebay link that was posted. It just arrived, only a week after ordering it! I have turned it on at work just to see what it's like, can't wait to get home and try it on my pole tonight!

That Dance Journal App that Amy mentioned is brilliant! I use it all the time since discovering it via Amy's blog. The only downside is people think u are standing in a lesson texting when actually u are making notes! lol

Stardust on here lives there. I don’t think they have many studios, I think she just poles at home, but at least u will have a pole buddy!

Roadkillgerbil has a couple of r poles. She doesn’t come on here much nowadays but u could try sending her a message? If I see her on msn I will ask for u 🙂

And I'm only 5ft and I can do it too. Took me ages to get it and I found that I really needed to push away from the pole with the bottom arm when doing the reverse grab bit. So try really focussing on pushing out with the bottom arm, this gives me enough space to get my leg round the pole.
