Awesome idea!!! Yeah, I’d totally be faking the splits but if you catch it at the right angle on camera, it can look like you’re really doing them https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif

Hi and welcome! Don’t be discouraged, it takes time – you’re doing really well so far! I agree – try Veena’s lessons. Happy poling! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_flower.gif

Hi Tara, I am in the UK and I got an x-stage a couple of months ago. There is a vid or two on my youtube account if you’re interested, I’m Gsylass there too.
Personally I think it’s great, you can raise and lower the feet which are on extendable bars, so fine for uneven surfaces and you can give yourself greater stability if needed. It looks worse than it feels when you climb to the top. The big downsides in my opinion are one, it’s REALLY heavy (two bags each containing half the surface of the stage, one bag with the pole, and a pull-along case with the stage frame), and secondly it’s hideously expensive, but then you’re paying out that money whichever brand you go for. I am unfortunately offshore, so had to fork out another 200 quid to get it shipped over here https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_eek.gif However, it has been so much fun to use – Azzwoo’s got a couple of vids too as it currently resides in her barn https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif so check them out too.
Happy poling, whichever you choose – it’ll be good to see you back on the pole again! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_thumleft.gif

Would you believe it, my hubby is better at this than I am, first time he tries, when he’s not even seriously trying (he was just trying to wind me up)!!!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_rolleyes.gif
