My granny has a huge issue with it though, and although she knows she ignores it. She thought my pole was holding the ceiling up and was quite happy when my little nieces were chasing each other round and round, until I reassured her that the ceiling was fine and that was my pole… LOL! Way to go with your mom though, that’s a great start! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

Oh Glitter, I’m so sorry for what you’re going through!! Please try not to beat yourself up about it. It’s waiting around that’s so hard though isn’t it. I share your fear of not being able to have kids – I had a phase where I was having 2 periods each month and the doc said what he thought it was and when I got home my hubby was like, you know that means we can’t have kids right?… I hadn’t had a clue, doc said he could fix it so I was happy… but I’m still worried that perhaps he’s wrong. Anyhow. I’m here too, if you need me **hugs**

Yup, sorry to break it to you honey, but I have awful stretch marks from poling! I suspect it’s partly to do with the size of my thighs and all that excess skin/blubber/whatever I’ve been burning off in the process… I’ve been using bio-oil for about 2 months and it does seem to help https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

I have patterned artex ceilings, so I just have a piece of plywood between my dome and the ceiling. This also helps spread the weight across more joists as I live in an old house! Hope this helps – happy poling! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

MemberJanuary 16, 2010 at 3:33 pm in reply to: how to excuse your hubby from your pole sessionsLOL I don’t bother covering up the shooting/chatter, you can hear it quite clearly! I tend to run my videos through a program to make them smaller so that degrades the quality a bit anyhow. I think there’s one on YouTube where you can hear me telling him to look because I got a new move https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif

MemberJanuary 16, 2010 at 3:08 pm in reply to: how to excuse your hubby from your pole sessionsMy hubby lost interest quite quickly and just sits there and lets me get on with it. It isn’t sexy when your other half is, as has been said, puffing and panting and struggling with a steel pole, and once they realise that you’re not twirling and cavorting for their benefit they lose interest. Now I have to ask him to watch when I want him to, lol https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif I think the other girls have given good advice. Oh and Audball, mine sits playing xbox while I pole!!

Then I heard that a girl I knew had taught herself and got the courage up to email her… that’s our Azzwoo!
