I got a note from the Pole Con that suggested

a pair of old pole shoes and a sharpee for autographs, a coverup to wear between workshops, comfy shoes, and maybe snacks?

I use rock climbing chalk for grip and it definitely needs a bag. That stuff goes everywhere :O)

I'm vegan and so is my friend. I think we're bringing a vitamix so we can blend up some food…a trip to the store is a fantastic idea. Are there fridges in the rooms?

Well, 6 weeks later, she's still slippery. It's REALLY frustrating. I saw somewhere to try acetone…and that didn't work either. I still need to try magic eraser. I can't practice the things I want to work on and I haven't had any time to get into the studio. Those powder coated poles have the best grip…at least for me. I'm just going to let it get dirtier and see how it goes. Bah! Such a bummer.

Yay!!!!! This is all so exiting!!! I started pole in November, installed one in my house last week and now a convention! It’s a whirlwind love affair.

We need those rubbery livestrong bracelets but studioveena.com ones in matching colors so we can identify eachother at conventions!!!! Someone tell Veena to have some made! I’d totally pay $6 for one if the proceeds went to charity or something…..;0)

Great! I'm counting the minutes until I can get home and get this thing up and running! I almost cried last night when I thought I was going to have to wait for new parts to arrive! I'll let you know how it goes!

How do you like this website? I'm new..thinking about going for the paid membership. Is it worth it? I might cut my studio classes down and use the web now that I have a pole at home (assuming it works!!!)

Thank you!!! I've been reading horror stories about PS…all sorts of customer service and product issues, but they seem alright so far!

Oh, and how do you get it down with the adjustor screws way up at the top of the pole?
