I'm in the area alot so that would work great. Do you have space for two poles or will we take turns? I can make space for two if I move a thing or two. I'm self employed too, that's neat. I'll be skyping you soon. I am super weak but have a few tricks up my sleeve. My splits suck and I can barely and rarely invert but I still think I rock lol

I got the black, red and green, tops and bottoms (amazon.com) and i found them to give alot of stretch so I dont feel like they ran small at all. Also on the colored bottoms (not the black) the color wore off of the metallic. The sequins also fall off here and there. Both issues mainly occur where the pole rubs. It's not really a big deal and not that noticable but I would def suggest using them minimally so that they look great during performance.

I always found the clear strapped ones to have a sharper edge that would dig unless they are the multi thick straps. I think all black goes fine anyway.

aww thanks for the replies guys! Apparently after another opinion, i do have them 😀 I thought it was just wishful vision lol. I didn't notice them when I was bigger and I know I'm not waifish now. I am in one of the best shapes of my life right now so I think I can make them even more noticeable as I continue to gain strength and eat better.

I really don't find these cleanses effective for losing wieght, I know the scale moves but that's not what I'm after. Results that I have had and would like again is glowing skin, clearer head, more energy. I couldn't do a fast because I HAVE to eat right now as I'm trying to gain muscle.  Another thing is I'm trying to quit smoking (day 2 todayhttps://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif) and kick coffee. I'm trying to substitute green tea for the coffee. I just figured a cleanse would help the process.

I've had one a bit over a year ago. Yes the scar is huge but in my case was totally worth it. This was a couple of months before I got into pole though. The only issue that I can think of that will continue to give you trouble for a while is your flexibility over your stomache, like when you do back bends. I remember while healing from mine, it's hard to even stand straight for a while. Part of my tummy tuck was fusing my abdominal muscles back together, which led to a literally tighter stomach. It almost felt like my ribs were tied to my pelvic bone, but with a string that was too short!

whoa Lola! lol I've been thinking about that N.E.R.D. lately too! I can imagine alot of floorwork (which i usually ignore) to that song. Actually I've been thinking of a few N.E.R.D. songs for poling…

I don't think you sounded rude at all Sues 🙂 And yes Terpsikhore, some people think that autosexuals don't quite qualify as asexual but I could be considered auto  I noticed that the asexy community sometimes struggles with eliteism so maybe the LGBT community would be more welcoming? And ya asexuality can be fluid in some people, look at me, I have a kid already lol

asexual is more or less basically having no drive for sex. Asexuals can still find themselves attracted to other people either male or female but for other reasons. Some still have romantic relationships and some don't even have a desire for that (aromantic asexuals).  So yes horsecrazy pretty much has it right 🙂

Are you a part of any asexy online communities? I found what I think may be the main one but would like to find more.

do you know how to get smooth roots when curling your hair with an iron. Like I know i could blow it out really well before doing it or iron it out but that just seems to take FOREVER. I’ve been using the iron alot for pinup style looks but want to make it easier so I can do it more often. Thats probably a weird request https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_tongue.gif

oh and my hair is curly. Oh i just noticed this is for makeup! oops but still https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif

haha me and my daughter were just discussing this. I’m a very young mother also, and my daughter is 5. I never hid the pole from her. She watched me put it together, she took some first spins with me and she grips better, holds better and basically blew me away being a natural at it the very first day lol. I took it out of the house so her friends parents wouldnt get to see and say anything about it and put it in our own studio. I dont tell her she can’t tell, I just tell her people don’t always like it and some just don’t "get it". The only person I definitely say for her not to tell is her daddy https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif but he’s always looking for a fight to pick

I don’t booty pop unless I am totally alone, and dont watch any videos like that with her (yes we watch youtube and SV together) I also like the vertical ballerina comparison and started to push some ballerina themed things on her. Maybe I will buy her a tutu haha.

Ah ok. I’m in texas so i’ve had plenty of heat and humidity but we just got a cool front in. I always thought when people talked about grip and the weather they meant with their hands… thank you <3

I’m a size 9 and my pleasers always fit just right. The Bordello line though (i think thats pleaser) runs small but i still buy in my size and just squeeze into them https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif but they are closed toe so you couldnt tell on the outside…

Maybe try on a pair at a sex toy or lingerie shop? If there are none around Halloween superstores are also good for that and if it is a temporary store you might get great deal!

Oh i have them in all sizes (im a shoe freak), not all the quarter sizes though. I guess im asking because Im wondering if you guys have been able to increase height as you’ve gotten better at pole or does preferrence usually stay the same? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

Can we include more than one quote in these replies? Anyhoo…

    Vixen,
I have a 50mm chrome Xpert that I bought about a month or two ago. I’m having a hard time finding a permanent home for it around the house so it’s not getting used as much as I would have liked already. I just signed for Veena lessons so I’ve been on it again

    Hooked on pole,
I shop on Amazon alot (that’s where I got my first pole) and I also have a wishlist. My santa https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_santa.gif got me the pole from my wishlist and a bunch of other things but his computer got hacked https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif Since everything was put on hold I’ve been reading the thread about ‘how fast to titanium poles fade’ and started to have second thoughts since it was a 45mm titanium gold. I went ahead and asked him to cancel that one. From what I see there are mixed reviews and anyway I’m such a newbie, maybe I don’t need another pole yet teehee https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif

Still deciding what I should wish for now https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_scratch.gif

I have a 50mm chrome now and a 45mm titanium gold on the way. When i first read this I was a little dissapointed but in a way I kind of like to see my things looking used. Well not my shoes or anything like that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_lol.gif but like my sketchbooks (not much else I can think of) I hope I feel the same way about the pole. Like I will look at it and say "I wore that pole down, with all my hard work, yes I did" https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_mrgreen.gif Maybe I’m just strange haha

But so the grip won’t be affected right? Just the color?
