Thanks for this! I am in the same position in that I can’t do the inverted v and therefore getting VERY discouraged, so much I haven’t been poling. I can however do the basic invert and because of this great thread I will keep on! Thanks so much lovely ladies!!!
i found by accident that sitting on my feet with my heels on really stretched my ankles in a good archy foot point way. (does that make any sense?) i learned one where you have your knees on a foam block, you're basically kneeling on a foam block, sit down and kinda lean back. hard to get a visual, i'm hella camera shy or i'd make you a vid of what i'm talking about.
alethea austin has a great foot stretch in her 'stretching for pole' dvd if you access to that.
