I should prolly mention I've been a barber for the past 14 years. I mostly work with men's hair and guys tend to be very simple with there hair and color choices.

I've had good luck using 30 vol with the kaliescopes blue(  I have natural dark, dark brown hair ) You'll need a hood dryer for it. Using a hood dryer means you get the heat you need to help the product work and it is on your hair for the shortest amount of time. The blue will help pull your hair up to a baby duck yellow and not orange.I've also used color opps( you can buy this at walgreens) and the color fix from Sally's. The color fix smells worse, but works better and seems less drying. I'm in love with the Ion keratin treatmeant and use the Ion color defense after color sealer. You can use the color sealer as a conditioner or after you use your regular conditioner. Also if you can find it ,Cortex has a wonderful shampoo and conditioner that will help keep the frizz down if you have fried your hair. It isn't cheap ,but is well worth it. I found some at my local TJMaxx and got all they had. I think I'm set for a year. 🙂 Oh and a good trim will do wonders for how your hair feels and how well it retains it moisture.

P.S. when working with color remember your color wheel. Opposite colors on the wheel will help correct themselves. So red will correct ashy green colors. Blue will correct orangey colors and so on. This does NOT mean get a straight red color for your hair. This works for the undertones in the color. So if you bleach your hair the color you are left with is the udertone. So you'll want to find a color with the opposite undertone. Warm colors will more then likely have red/orange under tones. Cool will have blue or green undertones.

PPS if you've really fried your hair back off from using heat on. Let it dry naturally.Avoid using a flat iron or curling iron on it.

Hollywood tape is great ( use lots ) and maybe a contrasting triangle bikini top underneath.

That sounds like a good approach.I said very similar things myself and had my instructor use that approach. As you know women can be very sensitive, but since your asking and are concerned about her ,I think you’ll handle it well. Also ask Rena if it’s okay, and if it is, show her some of her pics. She is an inspiration to me and I know she is for lots of other ladies too.

As long as you are sensitive to your student and are encouraging and I don’t see that being a problem :)Make sure you tell her that her dancing is beautiful and sure it will take longer to get certain moves, but there is no reason why she can’t.My instuctors ( all itty bitty) are wonderful and they did this same thing with me and it helped loads.Shoot I have confidence enough now to dance in front of my husband and a crowd of people in
Jamaica.:) make sure to that you tell her you would do this with anyone you saw struggling.

I'm a big fan of Tend Skin. You can use it after waxing or shaving and it helps with the little red bumbs that you get as the hair grows back in. Word of warning it can sting like crazy when you first use it.

Wide leg circling pole squats. While facing the pole, spread your legs wide.Slowly circle your hips as you lower down and up. This will work your waist, glutes and quads. Especailly if you do it on the balls of your feet. I'll circle down one directions and circle up the other. or you can hold it for a few seconds( circling) and then come up. Add a couple in while your dancing and wow you'll feel it. Plus it looks sexy. 🙂 Oh and I do a cute little climb squat. take one climb up the pole, hold with your knees and really push the booty out and down in a half circle then lift up opposite direction. Sexy wide leg back to pole squats work well also.

I was home and thought I was starting to have a panic attack ( you know how you'll get that slightly shaky feeling as one starts) and then I noticed the ceiling fan was shaking and the stuff on the bookshelves was rocking back and forth. It lasted long enough for me for me to realize I couldn't get to all of my kids( one was downstairs playing Wii, one was napping and the other was watching a movie in the office ) then it stopped. So all in all I just about gave my self a real panic attack. Oh and we have a hurricane on the way. Summer is going out with a bang this year.

I think of rockstar on static as an atiitude spin with one leg up, you have to really open your hip for it. So you have your hooked leg in kind of an attitude pose and then you lift the free leg up. It takes time and you should diffently try it on both sides. I started out by doing it with the free leg low, more like a attitude extended leg spin and gradually worked up to resting my knee against the pole. Oh and you need to lean back more then you do in attitude or extended leg spins so you have room to lift your leg up.

Word of warning with the weed. I suffer from depression and anxiety, brought on by childhood abuse and I also suffered from severe postpartum depression after my son was born. I'm luckily in a place now that I don't need the meds. My GP told me that weed is good for anxiety and mild pain relief in small doses. If you smoke too much it can have the opposite effect. Meaning it can bring on more attacks and make you more depressed. He recommended that I smoke a small amount ( like one or two hits at most ) a day and the rest just eat well and exercise. Talk to your GP, before you try anything in some cases weed reacts badly with prescription meds. I'm very luck to have a doctor that I feel comfortable with and is honest and frank about things like this. Hopefully you are too. Hugs and love to you.

PS weed can increase libido in women, but like I said, before please talk with your doc before you change anything with your meds and ask about taking a combo of things. When I was at my worst after my son was born. I took Zoloft and Clonazepam (  (( in the morning and Trazidone( an antidrepessiant that will make you crazy sleepy) in the evenings. These are all meds that have been on the market for awhile so they have a large body of research behind them.Maybe going "old school" would work for you. And like Runemist said we are all here for you and are happy to listen to you if you need to bitch and moan. xoxo
