I live in the U.K. and got mine from Poldedancemat.co.uk.   Mine's 6 inches and bright pink, lol and the pics of it are on my profile page, as someone else on here was interested in buying one.  It was around £150.  They do sell 2 inch and 4 inch mats too.  I've used mine 3 to 4 times a week for over a year and the staiching and cover etc is still in perfect condition and is cheaper than some mats but really good quality.

@Chem, sorry Chem I didn't read the thread properly, still half asleep and I'd just seen this pole advertised in the U.k.  The bottom is different, I thought it would be like the sport pole. 🙂

I agree with Sensual, the Showgirl did replace ther Kendra pole,  X pole USA sell the showgirl poles,( its a 45mm static) on their site and I've seen them for sale in the U.K. on a  registered X pole seller site.

sorry I sent before I'd finished,  I find chrome very very slippy in the winter when its cold here even when I'm really warmed up I still spend 30 mins sliding down it, and I have to really heat up the room before fhand, but I find the grip generally ok for the rest of the year.

I meant to add that I have chrome, which works for me most of the time in the U.k.

I agree with Sensualscimitar, I originally learnt at home with a 50mm but I got a 45mm a year later and really love it, I got the chopper straight away and just felt much more confident with grip etc,. It's a matter of preference but I read all the threads on here before I bought the 45mm and Im glad I did, I love it, and thigh holds and leg holds didn't really feel much different than on the 50mm.

I'll try and take a picture of mine tomorrow and I was worried that 4ft wasn't enough and had looked into Lului mats as I think they're 5ft but the 4ft works fine for me.

Hi, I got my mat from Pole Dance Mat.co.uk its 6 inches thick and cost  £150 plus p&p around £15.  They do sell 4inch ones for about £120.  I really thought long and hard about getting a mat because of the cost but its been well worth it, after over a year of using it 3 to 4 times a week the stiching, foam and cover are as good as new and the foam is really good quality.  They sell in several colours, round or square I spoke to the guy there first and he was really helpful.  Hope this helps,

@Tara, I tried some of my husbands creatine, I gave it about twenty minutes to work, and I noticed it def gave me a quick explosive kind of strength, so I was able to get in and out of my   Superman more easuily and have more strength  for getting some combo I was trying.  I've only used them a few times but they def add some power to my  poling.  I haven't taken them enough to make notice any physical changes and I'm still an intermediate poler.
