CALLUS SHAVER!! Its the shit https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif My hands get really sore if the calluses get too big. Then they just hurt með more then help me so I shave them of about every other week I think. But Always leave a little bit. I tried the nail file and this that works just like nail file but is for the feet but it doesnt work very well for me. Callus shaver is best for removing calluses! And I have used a boxcutter to wich worked fine to. You just got to be really careful with that.

I could also do the middle splits when I was a kid but not the side splits! :O Is it just a kids thing? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif Hehe.
-
I got my first split ever today! I have been going to these stretching classes 2 times a week at the pole studio I go to that focus only on stretching for splits. I have been taking those classes for about 2 months except for july. Today I managed to get into a split finally! I was so happy. But then when I tried again I couldn’t do it.. ARgghh. But was VERY close to it. Anyways. I just had to tell everyone about this and I feel so accomplished even if I could only do it once https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif I just hope that I will get better at it and be able to do it always! Not just once.
Why are the middle split so much harder ?!

I think that its great for kids to learn how to pole. But I just have to say why would she name the classes sexy flexy?! I really dont think thats a good idea even if they are not teaching them to be sexy. And the newslady was a bitch too. =/

Haha I love big bruises. I have had those all over! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Is there a big difference between 6" and 7 1/2" heels? I have only had 6" and am quite comfortable in them but never tried any higher then that. I really wanted the pleasers with the gun heels but they only come in 7 1/2" And I was just wondering if they are awfully heavy and if I should buy them or not? Can’t decide :S Should I or am I just going to kill myself walking in them?
-
Im sure they will send it to you. I contected them to ask if they could sent me itac to Iceland and they could do that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Yes they are great! I got my first pair in may and I love them. They are 6" and im really not used to walking in heels at all. They were really tight at first but it took me only like 3 classes wearing them to break them in and get them comfortable. I was really suprised how stable I was on them. Love them. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Congrats!

Here’s how I do it. When I am down in the car I put my hands and grab the pole behind me as high up as i can. Then I extend the arms as much as I can and push my hips forward. Hope that helps. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Maybe you just are still getting used to it or are scared to do it on the 45mm?
I have slim thighs and I can do these tricks on a 38mm pole without a problem. So you should be able to do it to https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Maybe theyre just trying to annoy you? My boyfriend and few other people used to say stripper practice. I just got tired of saying no its pole fitness/dance not strip. He would say things like,, Are you going to a stripper practise? I just got used to it and said yes and stopped correcting it. I know he knows its not strip https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif I think some people are just trying to be funny saying that https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Hehehe what about just using the word pole fitness? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

Some street poling. Street poling is fun to do! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif

Yes. Its either 37 or 38mm not sure. It was custom made for the studio I go to. I don’t think Xpole have smaller then 45mm. If I had to choose between 45mm and 50mm I would go for the 45mm personally. I tried 50mm and didn’t like it. And since you have small hands I would reccomend 45mm. And you could always try and see wich one you prefer https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif Different people like different poles https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif

I only have one facebook account.
I think that everyone I know knows that I pole dance. I was so excited when I started that I told everybody about it, people at work, my friends and family. And its no secret at allt. To me its no different then any other sport or dance. Most people are just supportive and happy for me for doing what I love. I dont see anything wrong with poledancing so if anyone else thinks that there is something wrong with it and that im doing it, then its just really not my problem. https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif -
Heres stuff that I read on Karol Helms facebook https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_razz.gif
Peter (guy that sells itac) says:
"It seems that most people like the level 2 but depending oh how much you perspire the level 3 or 4 could be a better choice, i.e. you may need to experiment a little. If you want to order the level 2 to start I will include a level 4 sample too. I’ve been told a few times that the level 2 is best for hands and the level 4 works best for the legs."Karol Says:
"it only takes a tiny bit rubbed on the hands.. I use the level 2 and think its a perfect amount of tack. I rub it on my hands, then use my hands and rub them between my thighs, backs of knees, insideof the arms, and on the hips.remember, a lil goes a long way..!!"
And then I read that many pole dancers also use itac 4. So seems like you just have to figure out wich level works best for yourself.
So I just ordered both itac2 and itac4. Hope its good stuff https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif By the way I have never tried any of those grip aids.

I couldnt do the cross ankle release until someone told me to turn my knees inwards and just squeese as much as I can with my thighs and legs . And it worked! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_smile.gif
