I have personally always wanted to try bellydancing. However I would be to embarassed to go. I almost took some classes with some the girls I worked with at my old vet office, and even though they not only ranged in age from 25-50, and we all had different body types I STILL felt I'd be to embarassed to wear those clothes and try and belly dance. lol I have a disorted self image too apparently.*shrug* So I steer clear of any types of public classes personally….anxiety I suppose.

Ah I see. Thanks for explaining that to me. 🙂 Unfortunatly whatever I buy will be my first pole and I need a full pole. 🙁 I've been hoping for a used one somewhere since new ones are expensive….but I may end up just having to save for a new one. Good luck selling/trading yours. 😀

LOL! They certainly don't make anything easy huh? I'm just dog/house sitting, but I love them like they're my own. They never get enough attention. LOL Silly dogs. Hopefully I can do more tonight. May have to lock them out of the room for a bit but I feel so bad, they give me such hopeless looks. lol Oh and the room I had set aside, in the house I share with my brothers, to be my pole room, has magically turned into the boys's weight room so now there's NO room for me if I get a pole! >_< They knew I was going to use that room too darn it!

I got all my music from youtube and from my phone actually. If you have an android there's an app called mp3 ringtone maker and using it I have downloaded some stuff from Tarzan, Beauty and the Beast, The Little Mermaid, Aladdin, etc. 🙂

That is amazingly inspirational. I wish I could be like that. My mother made me self concious and then the highschool boys really drove it in since I wasn't the thin whispy preppy girl they all liked. Then my ex husband completly shot my remaining self esteem after cheating on me twice. I was even afraid to try poling because I fear the criticism I'll get for not being "perfect" by society standards. My old man has even got onto me because I can't take a compliment without rolling my eyes and saying a snide remark like, what you got beer goggles on. We are our own worst critics. Thank you for sharing that! 🙂

Well good news here! The lady with the lil mynx contacted me…..bad news is, she said she is firm at 180. I'm trying to negotiate to 140 since I have to pick it up anyways. All I can do is hope. I may have to walk away and keep looking.

Well I will donate, but not because of the raffle. I think it's a good cause and always donate here and there when I can for good causes and cancer is definetly a good reason to donate. Great that you're doing this! Very cool!

Hey I LOVE the idea! I especially love the Disney idea! I have SO many Disney songs…. I LOVE Disney! It'd be so cool to see everyone dressed as Disney characters doing poling…….wow I'm a tad overexcited sorry….lol 🙂

I always thought that was a disinfectant….. ??? lol Talking with everyone they say powder coated poles are good for sticking on the pole…..so maybe some type of baby powder or something would help?
