I finally love my body – I was too skinny until Uni, then too big from the alcohol and bad food (not fat at all, just uncomfortable with myself), and now thanks to pole I'm starting to tone up and accept me for me 😀 YAY POLE!!

I think toe pointing should be worked on once you have the move and feel safe executing it. To me toe pointing is the cherry on top, it finishes the move, but I wouldn't ever take the piss out of someone for not pointing their toes! Especially not the first time they get a move!

Handstand deadlifted against the pole! I can do it with the wall but I get a mental block when I’m at the pole 🙁
I’m also in a battle with my aerial invert, sometimes it’s there and others it isn’t!

I tend to wear my pole gear to class under my clothes so all I have in my bag is:
A bottle of water
Deodorant
A comb, hair ties and bobby pins
My studio's moves cards – little laminated cards with each levels moves on and a box for signing them off (Silver, Gold and Platinum level)
My purse/phone/iPod/keys
And my little bag of grip aids! Liquid chalk, the two types of mighty grip and tite grip (I've become to the go to person for grip aid lol, they call it my bag of white powder)

I really need to start putting a notebook in my bag, I'm constantly writing mental lists of things I want to try and then forgetting them 🙁

I'm with Raven, it's a pole goal of mine to visit Taylors Retreat! You're so lucky to have it as your home studio Amiloo 😀 it's gorgeous.

OK wow lol, I can sacrifice spinning for the chance to play on taller poles! I'm 5ft 8 and I only get 2 climbs out of the ones at my studio and 1.5 at home 🙁
Just to mention, I would ask my studio but it's a full time dance studio so they have kids lessons all day Saturday and I think Sunday too.
