The safest way, watermark and if you edit others pictures or have others edit yours (like I do for a living) always work under a contact to protect your rights. But stealing someones pictures is just uuggh! I really feel your pain Jelli. I hope FB takes it down soon! You can acutally also watermark your videos. Distribution of your videos/pictures is hard to stop, but atleast, you will be credited and that is the important part. Dont let some creep get you down, you are a good poledancer and you should never stop showing that, because of fear.

If it was ment to me, I never ment that I think pictures are protected here on sv. Just that I like the environment and that I feel safer, because of the people here, they seem very nice and supportive. I could not imagine a profile here, with mine or others pictures. If it happens, I naturally wont feel as comfortable anymore.
About the photos being send to someone to change them, I have done that. But you send a note with that, stating it is still your property and they agree to that, they have no rights.

Oh and if they distribute my pictures with the watermark on, I concider it free advertising 🙂

I dont know what it is, but I feel kind of safe on SV. Its the only place online where trolls and negativity are rare, but if it would happen, I would learn from that.:) Youcan make a very subtle watermark with an opacity around 5-10 % people would not see that right away, but the ou can point it out, that your name is on that picture. I change how I do it,from time to time. Sometimes I do the mark like I wrote before, or I put it on the side of the picture (a place where it does not go over me) and make it a little more obvious. You can pretty easily make one in photoshop. Its a bit complicated to explain in a message, but if you search "how to make a watermark in ps" on youtube, theres lots of simple step by step tutorials for it 🙂

I meet this problem alot in my job. "photographers" stealing my pictures and claiming they took them, editors claiming they edited it. I've even tried other girls using them and claiming they are the ones on the picture (the last one I dont get at all!) The best thing you can do, is watermark them. I usually do this, except here on SV. Otherwise you can just spread the word, like you are doing and take it as a creepy compliment. :/ One of the photographers I know, een has a lawyer for this purpose only, but it also happens to him alot. Some people are just creeps :/

Definately the tack ones will give you amazing grip, and it will be hard to use them, doing spins on static pole. But for a spinny pole they are great 🙂

I have both mighty grip gloves with and without tack. 🙂 I loooove my gloves with tack! You and I both know that does hot days here in dk makes the pole (and everything else) so moist. But with my tacky gloves I can pole without problems on those days. The ones without the tack, I have used only once. They dont work with my chrome pole. I even feel that I have a better grip without any grip aid, than with those..

I was in pageants when I was a kid. My mom was kind of crazy about it, and really only gave me attention if she could play dress up with me. I had these amazing princess dresses, but that was all she ever bought for me, so I couldn't run around and play with other kids in those dresses. I have a memory of me, when I was very little, One of my moms friends was holding me while my mother was putting red nail polish on my toes. I was screaming and cring because I didn't want to, but the friend just kept holding me. After that my father stopped it and told my mother, that he would leave with me, if she ever treated me like a doll again. I was so miserable back then. Needless to say, from that moment on, I was a daddys girl 🙂 My mom did change over time. She was very young when she had me, and she didn't find motherhood to be so interesting untill she got alittle older. She was far from a perfect mother, but we did become closer at the end. But I wont ever forget her forcing me by hand to dress me up.

@Jessiegirl96 – I know how you feel too! I havent been good with keeping up either. I did get a nemesis move down, but flexi training and training pole have been much less than ever before. I've been so stressed with work, wich I havent been used to for a year or so, so I have skipped my training in order to fit in work. :/ And now Im sick with the flu! Luckly I have finished my work and im looking at a peaceful summer, so it pole pole pole, before I start school.

Omg! Im actually angry on your behaf (dont know how to spell that) what a little brat :/ I would take it to the court or police, like others have mentioned. And yes, ont worry about the floor. If she wants you to pay for that, she will nolonger be able to claim that you gave her that pole. Because how on earth woul she explain that she dropped the pole you "gave" her and then also make you pay for that? And even if she admitted to have only borrowed it, well, she still dropped it in her house. Do you still have a receipt for the pole? And I woul try getting the police to escort you. I ha to o that with an old bf once.

Pole has really changed things for me. Right around the time I'd gotten my pole, I became sick and lost alot of weight. I was weak at the end, that I could not even go to the grocery store. It was the motivation to be able to pole, that pulled me out of it. Then when I had gained enough weight to be able to pole, I got so into it, that I started caring about my weight. I needed more kilos to buildt up strenght. Before I knew it, I had hit my goal. Sometimes I'd even say it was a big part in saving my own life for a while.
