Well….a lot of competitions use 45’s but most bars willk have 50’s. So…I say start with 50 unless you have really small hands.

yup thats the bumslide…as far as advice – I’m not much help as I find the burn incredibly painful so I have a cheater version that isn’t nearly as nice.

Just an update –
Inverted combinations are for the dancer who wants to work on transitions form trick to trick – we will work laybacks, basic inverts and advanced inverts and talk about moving from one thing to another SAFELY.
Pole Choreography will teach you a routine but we will also discuss building a routine and how to build stamina and save energy during a performance.
My first set of big workshops! Super excited!

Allegra – I love that you don’t care that we all do your move- thank you for sharing it with us. I have seen a number of people do the allegra and every person looks different doing it. We all have to remember different moves look differently on different dancers – our bodies our different our entrances and exits are different.
I have so much appreciation for the very basic moves even because you can make a fireman just a wow spin by being YOU! The moves are there but what we do with them sets us apart.

I’m going to try to be a good midwest representative at East Coast! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_biggrin.gif
Empy’s comp is going to be great because it’s limited to Midwest and South Central USA – so we get on the map too.
Don’t forget Alethea is a midwest girl too https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

That I love all styles of pole dancing so I’ve *tried* to do them all at one point or another.
