i am the same height as you and also been wondering if being tall puts us at a disadvantage. My instructor has said that i make some moves such as gemini look more dramatic being tall but she also said i will have to work harder at certain moves because of my very long legs. Will be interesting to see what others say but nice to find somebody in the same boat as me 🙂

my chrome xperts adjuster cover got stuck too my husband put on some grip gloves and with a lot of force he managed to unscrew it but now it is still pretty stiff to turn. Hope you manage to sort it x

i am very open about my pole but am very lucky that everybody including my husband family friends and work mates are all very supportive. They all ask to see regular photos and videos of my progress so its nice to have support. Hopefully your boyfriend will come round x

my husband has type 1 diabetes and injects twice a day he was diagnosed seven years ago. It hit him hard to start with and he couldnt cope with injecting himself but now it is just part of his life. There is loads of info on the web to help you and my husband has a diabetic nurse who he sees regularly who helps him alot. As long as you look after yourself it shouldnt have to take over your life x

i work nights in a respite home for children with complex health needs or challenging behaviour. Hard but rewarding x

my swelling lasted three days. What did you have done? Next to pole tattoos are my favourite things i have 28 lol x

foot is a very sensitive place to get tattooed my most painful by far even worse then the one on my ribs. Hope it feels better soon x

i had a two hour tattoo done on my foot and it was so swollen i couldnt put shoes on red warm and painful to walk on. I was warned by my tattooist that it may happen but after a few days of keeping it up as much as possible it was back to normal x

with a bit of brute force my husband managed to undo the adjuster cover yay! Dont be put off by this thread i love my x-pert and that was the only minor problem i have had with it 🙂

my adjuster cover wont undo i have tried and my husband has tried but we just Cant get it undone. Any ideas?

i have been doing pole since January this year and it is a very tough journey but stick at it as your strength will improve and you will get better. Starting pole is the best thing i have ever done i am stronger more toned and the buzz you get when you finally crack a move is amazing. Dont give up and the lovely ladies here are always good for some support. Good luck x

i do have my own pole at home and i find this is where i am at my best. The class i am in is quite fast paced as the instructor prefers to go back to things on another day after a few attempts at it. I didnt have any kind of sporty background before starting pole so starting from scratch lol
