After I got pregnant my arch dropped so I can’t wear them anymore! I’ve only worn them about 5 times never danced in them!and they were mostly for “show”. So they are in very good condition. I’ve already measured the sole of the shoe and it’s 10 inches

Just buy a bigger size? Since there’s no fabric going down the leg really, height shouldn’t be an issue. I’m really tall and have no prob fitting in any type of short I just have to get a bigger size only because my butt is big and my hips are wide!

I really wouldn’t try hair spray it won’t prevent sweat and it will make your pole all gross! I would try dry hands and if you don’t like it just send it back.

You would have to chage their viewpoint in the way that like Gata said you would have to give them an overview to the people coming in that it’s not stripping or super sexual dancing. Or else people will treat it like a strip club it’s nieve to think otherwise… It wouldn’t be positive environment :/

@gataagressiva exactly. I was stating facts. I even thought there was no such thing at pole dancing just as a hobby! I thought it was all stripping until I started looking on youtube and saw that people do it for fun.no one will know unless they are told directly or figure it out themselves. I didn’t say it was impossible and I gave an open question of how you would change that stereotype through that setting. I was merely describing some of the difficulties that would arise if anyone attempted to create such a place. How would you give an “overview” to coustomers or men that want to watch? How would any of you change someone’s view of it? That’s what I’m very interested in knowing.

That’s a nice quote and we shouldn’t care what people think but the guys that would go in there probably wouldn’t appreciate it in the right way you said people would be amazed but if I were ignorant to “appropriate pole dancing” I wouldn’t take my family there or if I was a guy I would think cool pole dancing hot girls and there would be drinking like crazykosters said, it would probably be very distasteful.

Most people have NO IDEA that pole dancing can just be a hobby and can be sports like. It would be a shame if there were disrespectful guys that were shouting take it off! Or threw money at a dancer. How would you show that it was JUST dancing? I know guys will look at a girl in a skimpy outfit and think dirty esp dancing on a pole I would personally just be so uncomfortable dancing in that setting with random guys that are ignorant to the other world of pole dancing and think all pole dancing is stripping and sexual. I saw a video of nicole Williams dancing at a jazz club or something and people threw money. Also someone on this site posted a video I forgot who but she was dancing at a bar type place and people threw money at her and she wondered why people threw money at her.. It was really really sad to me to see that.

@grayeyes I warm up my arms really well before doing my daily push ups, I do stop around 40 for a few seconds lol it’s getting easier and easier for me and I also work out before or after the push ups I have to workout everyday to stay motivated. I drink a protein shake after my workout everyday maybe that’s why I’m progressing so quickly??

@jsheirdan not crazy, just passionate! 🙂 I spend about 4 hours a week? learning floor work and I don’t even have my pole yet! I switch off doing ab and leg strengthening work outs during the week and I have been doing push ups everyday and now I can do almost 80 🙂 I also stretch twice a week, back stretch once a week, foot stretch/stregthening everyday.

Aerialgyspy some girls think it’s cute to wear a skimpy outfit and if you get into a difficult move something might come out. That’s the whole point of this discussion I think.

Robinb I have seen I was making an example of wearing a thong to volleyball.. And I said I think everyone wants pole to be seen as a sport I didn’t say everyone… I said that because I read that a lot. I was giving my opinion, i would legit quit a class if I wanted to be in a professionally setting and learn moves but saw a girl in her underwear or bra that’s just plain innapropriate or having some girls boob or vagina popping out I would get grossed out and wouldn’t be focused. It’s not hard to dress appropriately if you can afford classes you can afford proper shorts that cover your ass and a proper sports bra or top that will hold in your boobs. It’s sad that girls don’t care about covering up their private parts because that should only be meant for one person. Again, just giving my opinion like everyone else.

I think everyone wants pole to be recognized as a sport and treated as much. Why wouldn’t there be a dress code? If you were in volleyball would you want a team mate wearing a thong?? Or anything skimpy like that? Unless it’s an exotic/strip class it’s not acceptable for someone to wear something that will have their body parts popping out. No one wants to see that it’s very inappropriate and inconsiderate. It would be very sad if a girl quit class because another girl made her uncomfortable.

I’d like to get a year that would be the most practical option since I’m getting a pole for Christmas and I might just get it then it’s just expensive and the only Internet is on my phone and it would rack up my bill and if I get it I want to get it when I have my pole so I’ll have more time.. It’s all very complicated :s

What about Josiah bad azz grant?Or nicole the pole??She was just in Rihanna’s music video.. Both are stunning performers. Every well know pole dancer has worked their ass off to be where they are…they are talented and have something special. It doesn’t matter what race you are or what your face looks like if you’re an outstanding exceptionally talented pole dancer you will get noticed.
