You can get a Platinum Stage pole to go that high. I perform on one that height every weekend in Hollywood and it's stable. They are custom made at that height, and I haven't had any problems.

If I grew up in Chicago, moved to Los Angeles, and now spend my time between the two cities (because half my family is in LA and half in Chicago) would I be able to enter this competition?

Portable X-Poles can safely extend up to 14 feet, so order some extra pieces and start climbing.

It’s not up on youtube because it was sent to me by someone in the crowd just as a link.I had a little problem with the pole falling practicing a spin during warm-up, so I was more unsure and timid than usual during the live performance. If you look closely you can see the fear in my eyes before each big trick.

12 of Cali’s best pole artists will compete for the title. Performances by very special guests including, World Champion Felix Cane and US Champion Alethea Austin.

They haven’t even filmed the finals yet so I’m assuming the show wouldn’t be aired for awhile. Not until they schedule the finals at least.

Tickets aren’t on sell yet. We are still working on getting the pre-production completely locked down. Tickets will go on sell in about a week. I’ll put a blast on here as soon as you can go to the website and get them.
I’m so excited about this year. Update: It will be at the Avalon in Hollywood. The production on it is growing so big we decided we needed a much bigger venue. Bigger stage, higher poles, and a 800 guest capacity. We’re doing this up in style. -
I’ve performed on the new light X-pole stage for them at a fitness convention. It’s great! just as study as the one thats out now but easier to lug around.

I put together the California Pole Dance Championship in a club out here in Hollywood. 500 guests came out the watch the show. I might be interested in doing one out in Texes also if you get me some more info.

I was just asked to do my fire act for the show, so I will be doing that also. I’m so excited to be able to perform twice in such an impressive line up. The Vertigirls will also be performing at this show. We’ve been working very hard, as my sore body can testify to, on our five dancer, fully sequenced, choreographed routine.
If you don’t know about the Vertigirls it’s a Pole Dance troupe with Anjel Dust (Evolve and Bespun), Michula Nunez (Antix), Estee Zakar (Bespun), Madeline Eve, Mina Montezaie (Evolve and Allure), and Leigh Acosta (Xpolesitions).
We’re so excited to be involved in this show it’s going to be amazing watching the other performances. -
I did the one in October. Good experience. The only gripe was that they don’t allow the contestants to watch each other’s performances. Same as USPDF, I guess. Other than that, I had a great time. Good luck to anyone going this Feb. I hear they are breaking the contestants up into to two groups so they can tape two episodes on the same day. My advice… don’t be in Alethea’s group.
