I dislike my tight hip flexors too dustbunny!
I also dont like most hip flexor stretches to loosen them up. Its like they all involve stupid lunges!!! Pigeon pose feels so nice though.

I know I’m definitely focusing on too much. And for me strength training is a bit boring.
I was just telling someone I think I need a TV in my pole room. I like music but I need more entertainment than just music… especially if I’m working on basics and strength. I think thats why yoga and stretching has been easy to keep up with because I do it on the floor near my TV and computer. 🙂

Hopefully I’ll continue tomorrow… I have to admit I’ve not been really great about this 30 day thing. I’ve started this like 3 or 4 times now.
I just have a lot of goals happening at the moment… stretching, yoga, pole moved… the strength stuff is taking a back seat :/

Thanks. She is my baby girl! I don’t have a daughter, and she lets me brush her hair so it’ll have to do!
I’m using Fitogramme now. It’s a viewer (so no uploading from it) but you can like and comment from it, and view multiple timelines. It’ll take a little getting used to. The interface can do a collage, 3 columns or 4 columns. I’m not used to viewing them not 1 at a time… So we’ll see how this goes.

I had googled “managing multiple Instagram accounts” a few times… And there are apps that do it, some don’t let you upload from the app… So for that you have to sign in. I’m not sure about following, or liking, or following hashtags. I guess at some point I’ll download one or two and see. I was hoping someone had a recommendation. I guess I can always leave me IG app signed into one, and my webbrowser logged into another…
Anyway. I’m @AKpoles for my pole account.

Anyone have an app that manages multiple Instagram accounts well?
I have 1 account @allysonkendal. It’s my personal account and includes some pole, but not a lot. I don’t want to bombard my friends with daily yoga or pole challenges, and I don’t want to overwhelm my pole buddies with pics of my Bloody Mary’s (I love me a good Bloody Mary) or my son.
It’s hard to be logging in and out! My dog has an insta account. @dognamedkona. People think it’s ridiculous but a lot of my friends aren’t dog people…and if they follow me and my husband it would be so much puppy pics. So my husband and I share the account and mostly post puppy pics there so our dog lover friends can see… And our non-animal-lover pals don’t have to.
But I never go on the account and like look at my puppy’s timeline. We go on from time to time but only when we are posting something. Half the point of having a pole IG account is to look at stuff on it and like people’s pics and connect with polers… So that means a lot of logging out if I don’t want to miss stuff on my personal account either.
So any apps people use would be helpful!

I started (again) on the 1st. So I completed day 4 today. 🙂 Im also doing the Yoga Challenge but not doing the Ab challenge, though I probably should.. maybe I’ll throw some extra abs in there somewhere.

Yeah! It’s on Amazon for like 30 and it seems to be nice quality. But I figured I’d give it a go. Then I’ll see if I want a bigger one, or a bumpy one or whatever. This is a good test run.

I just picked a Golds Gym one up from Walmart on sale for $11.00. It’s not as long as it could be but its nice and firm so it’s fine for now. I really hate going to Walmart but I’m happy about my roller!

I don’t really remember how long it lasted. Mine was never bad.. just mildly bothersome. Maybe I felt it just a few times after particularly hard practice.
I only pole 1-2 times a week… so I usually have a lot of recovery time. I’m sure that helped.
But I haven’t noticed it other than in the beginning… But I haven’t been working on those moves in a while (just because I’ve been working on other things) But in the mean time other parts of me have gotten so much stronger so I’m not relying on the bottom hand as much! Plus my forearms are stronger too.Hope that helps.

Haha Neesy, I am not flexible at all (but its getting better certainly) but it’s like a running joke in pole class… I’m made out of wood!
I couldn’t figure out how to get my hands any lower… I also felt like they were so low until I saw the pic. Haha!
