Same here! I’ve been working at this since the summer with not much luck! I can do the x and lift back up but can’t lift from the floor https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_sad.gif I managed to do the lift once (when Felix was watching, she must have left some of her magic pole dust on the pole after she demonstrated!) But haven’t been able to do it again! I do have to admit I’ve been a pole slacker lately becxause of school though lol!

Same thing at my job, there’s little cliques of people that all hang out outside of work and then at work they make plans and talk about the stuff they did. I never get invited out (all though I don’t know if id want to go anyway lol) and we all chit chat at work,but I don’t really have any friends around me because a lot of people I befriend and try to help scre me over anyway. We all opened our store together too so I don’t know why I’m excluded I always feel like no ones likes me and I get frustrated! I’m nice and considerate and I always go out of my way to help people! Wtf lol!! I kinda just got used to being the black sheep everywhere I go

I’m down! Girls at the studio I teach at in Worcester would be interested too I’m sure! I was trying to plan something for after the hollidays, with finals and christmas comming I don’t have time right now but say January/February ish?? There are a few New England studios that I wanted to contact to see if they wanted to come and we can have a big pole party, because for years I didn’t know there were other polers in the area!!!! Do you go to a studio? We can do it it will be fun!

My latest moves are a baby pheonix (I’m using Charley’s description!), extended down splits with one hand (!), and the daredevil. Though I admit those are about a month or 2 old by now I’ve been slacking because of school lately!
My advance students just learned the v hip hold, cupid, and elbow grip static v! -

I was there and it was an amazing show!!!! (I cleaned the poles hehe) I believe they were being judged on the same things that most comps are judged on, grace, strength, flexibility, uniqueness of moves or ways in and out of moves and overall theme. Not sure though 100% it was deffinitly a hard decision I would not have wanted to judge it!!!

OMG I’ve been itching to try this for like 2 months but I don’t even know where to start!!! I tried a few times but was trying to move my leg up or over for a second but i just ended up in the tic toc lol. Sooo turning the torso which way? toward my leg that I’m pulling to my head (I’m all ready waaayyy twisted that way)?? or the other way?? and what about the arm trick? Such beautiful dancers! Jenyne is a trooper, I probably would have cried from pain! So glad no one got seriously hurt. All the performers I saw were fantastic and beautifull, Congrats girls!

I’m not trying to start any drama with you believe me! All I said was it seemed like you were implying those things being directed toward me, I don’t even know you, why would I want to start anything with you????????? It just seemed to me that all the negative comments were directed toward me, not only here, but on facebook and whatever, I’m done trying to defend myself all the time, I give up posting here, thanks for your support

I honestly haven’t even been watching the polls and I really just want it to be over with. I feel like you are suggesting that either a.) I’m cheeting, which I’m not because not only am I an honest person, I’m a computyer moron! And b.) Your saying whoever wins doesn’t deserve it if they win by popularity. So basically, if I were to win, I’m not tallented enough to share the stage with the others, because my friends voted for me even though I’m apparently a "terrible dancer"? I don’t know if I’m just taking it wrong but it seems all the crap comments are toward me! Why don’t I deserve it? It seems this whole thread was started to bash me. I want to say thank you to those who support me and stuck up for me I really appreciate it!
It just seems like everyone else trying to achieve they’re dreams gets support, but people just want to bring me down. Guess what, its not working, its only making me stronger, and I will prove that I deserve to ahcieve my dream!
