DEADLIFTS ARE SOOOO HARD, UHG. πŸ˜‚ I'm not a fan of deadlifts to begin with, they are great for working on strength but useless as a grounded move. Once my testing of moves is done, I'll be leaving the deadlifts for spin pole inverts! Still couldn't hold much but that comes back in time. Wishful thinking that I could even do one pole up!

peachymama Paid MemberIt's so inspiring to hear your story of stepping away from pole because it just didn't feel right, and now seeing the fight (and struggle) to work at getting back on the horse (pole) and the pain and frustration that comes with all the hard work and determination. I loved pole, but have fallen out of love with everything over the past couple of years. It's been a hard lonely time, but my pole has always remained up and in place, as if there's still a part of me drawn to it, and Veena, after hearing about your battle to get back on it, there's a tiny spark of motivation inside me to also fight to get back something I enjoyed. Am sure the pain will be real, but then that's something to feel alive for, right? Keep going and motivating those of us who have lost our way too!

evyapeldoorn3582 Paid MemberSo brave to share your journey. Respect! Love to see more of these videos as they show honesty and vulnerability; things that don’t show in perfectly executed tutorials.

VeenaPeachymama, The pain is worse than I remember, but so far it's been worth it. To do this just for me. I hope if you decide to come back to pole you'll find that joy. Thank you Colleen and Azu! I'll have just a few more to share :)

The rotator cuff stuff is exactly what my chiro told me to do: he is going to be so happy I'm looking after my shoulders and building strength safely on both sides :)
