Will the tension mounted x-pole work for my ceiling? Concerned about safety
I attached a photo, and as you can see my ceiling paneling isn’t completely flat. It has ridges that go in and out. I used a stud finder and I do have studs behind the flat paneling of my ceiling. I wanted to purchase an x-pert to place under a stud under the flat portion. Will this be okay or will it be a safety hazard due to the texture? I can’t drill into the beam as I’m renting. I already emailed x-pole but didn’t receive a response. Thanks so much!

I used to have mine up on a popcorn ceiling and it was fine, the top has a bit of a grippy edge. Do you know how thick the paneling is? I might be more concerned about cracking the paneling. How thick is the visible beam? It looks wide enough that you could just use that and it would be stable
