Do taller poles (installed with a permanent block mount) have more natural “give” to them? More movement naturally? This is a pole from Xpole and was installed professionally. Just wondering as many of the taller poles I have been on in various studios have moved laterally more.

YESS! And if it’s a thinner pole like 40 and brass it will give a lot. Mine does!

It’s a 45, but close to 14 feet… and the sway is certainly more than the 10 feet ones. I figured but thought I would ask the expert. Thanks for your quick reply!

If it’s an xpole that isn’t custom you might want to talk with them. I bought the longer joints which helps with sway and is suggested for taller poles.

Yes, it was a custom… I had a 9 foot pole and moved it to another studio which had much taller ceilings. They recommended the X-Bpole, which was perfect. Just the first time I saw so much give and wanted to pose the question to you:)
