Spinning pole question
Hi all,
I think I may have overtightened my pole. When I start climbing it spins very fast but the minute I try to switch positions it just stops. When at my studio I can do different positions without a problem but on mine it does not work. Can someone tell me if I spin it with my hands without actually getting on it, and let go should it carry on spinning for little longer? Mine just stops immediately. Thank you -

I have an x-pole expert, and if i over tighten it while screwing it into my permanent mount, it does exactly as you described. One turn of the pole in the opposite direction usually fixes the problem.

There is also a possibility that your pole is not straight. Did you check the level on 2 planes?

So I have now tried to loosen it and checked again if it’s straight. It’s not perfectly straight but it will not get any better. Still the same problem. Contacted the xpole helpline, so I suppose will have to wait till tomorrow now to get a reply x
