Have any X-Stage users managed to make the platform less clangy? I’m using it for a performance, but I’m not sure how to make the plates and frame less noisy and distracting.

I’m thinking of trying to put tiny bits of felt on corners where metal touches metal. What methods have other people used?

Hope you’re having a great week!

@33barbwire – there should be felt on the corners of the stage plates/stage legs – dependent upon which version stage you have – if not, felt on the corners would help massively.

Thank you! I’m practicing with softer footwork, but my worst noise issues are with stepping on the outer edge of the platform. The narrow end will knock the inner rim that it slips under during assembly. (Does this make sense? I hope I’m explaining it ok.) I’ll try some little felt spots on these next time I’m assembling it.
