Help w/ half handspring mount and handspring mount

Hey guys! So I recently got my cartwheel mount to split grip Ayesha and am now working on getting both my half handspring mount (as in Veena’s lesson which ends in an extended butterfly) as well as my handspring mount to true grip Ayesha. Once I get spotted on either skills to both extended butterfly or to an Ayesha I can hold the position solidly. But trying it myself to get my torso vertical instead of horizontal is so challenging! I’ve lowered both my hand positions on the pole before I kick up so my butt doesn’t have as high to travel, I’m tucking my knees to my chest...but I can’t seem to get past that sticking point of butt over head. And honestly I find the half handspring mount even more challenging since I need to kick my leg straight up and behind me. Any suggestions? Is it a matter of just doing it over and over till it one day sticks?

I've been poling on and off for about 3 years and only just started Veena lessons. I had done pole classes before but they did not help with building strength. Using studio Veena has made more aware about what my body is capable of.
