Does anyone have a pole in a mobile home or trailer?
I’m moving soon and was wondering if any of you all have set up your pole in a mobile home or double wide trailer? That’s what I’m looking at right now.

Most mobile homes do not have enough structure to setup a pole. I would suggest you contact your pole manufacturer and ask if they have suggestions on how you might safely setup your pole.

I have had mine in kitchen of trailer for 4 years now and it’s just fine. I tightened it on the support beams . Never had an issue so far!

I have mine up in a trailer as well. I bought a vaulted ceiling mount, and my boyfriend, who formerly did construction, put up a two-by-four for extra support to mount it to.

Yeah, I think most people just talk with the manufacturer to find out about their particular homes structure. I know we’ve had a few members here with a pole in mobile homes, but you just need to know what you’re doing!
