Hey all! I FINALLY got a pole for my apartment, but unfortunately, it’s completely carpeted in every room. I’m attempting to do pole/ floor work in my heels, but I’m having WAY too much stick on the floor.

For any of you lovelies that have made/ bought your own ‘stage,’ how did you do it, or what do you recommend?

Thank you SO much, and happy pole-ing!

We rent our home and my husband (webmaster) made a stage for one room and we also installed a whole new floor on top of carpet in my studio space! If you have a room that is nice and even as in rectangle or square laying a floor over the whole room was great!

We layed large pieces of plywood over the carpet, making sure if fit tightly across the whole floor. Then we installed the lock together flooring and it’s been great!

I don’t know for sure how he constructed the stage, but for the floor it was also plywood and we layed stick down tile on that and it’s held up great too!
