Hi, I had Carpel Tunnel Release surgeries done two weeks ago..I was wondering if anyone else has had these surgeries done and how soon were you back on the pole? I am so anxious! I will be having the other wrist done in about two weeks. I was having pain, weakness and numbness.
    Thanks!!

I had carpel Tunnel surgery in my left hand in October 2014.I was back on the pole by mid December(thanks to Instagram I can go back and see what my progress was back then). You really will have to listen to your body, it will tell you what you are ready to do.I was back doing a shouldermount by mid January, but I could not do a simple downward dog for about 5 months. It took a wile to be able to come down from the pole in a handstand, and to this day, I can’t do many handstands in a row.

I found strength wraps to be very helpful when coming back to pole. They give your wrist a little extra support and help keep them in alignment. Good luck and well wishes for a speedy recovery.
