    Hello all,

I just had my hair bleached at a salon. But a couple years ago o had dyed my hair almost black a few times. It’s not all completely grown out and so when it was bleached it didn’t not lighten enough for the style I needed. If I use color b4 a hair dye remover will it help?

    Thanks!

If you’re hair has been that processed it’s best to go to a qualified stylist. 🙂

    Hi Veena,

I did go to a hairdresser. The goal is grey. It was bleached for an hour and still came out pretty brown. I’m due to go in a second time but he doesn’t know if it will be light enough to put grey in. So I thought I might try stripping the color at home in order to lighten it enough for the second round of bleach. He doesn’t want to do a third round and I don’t want to pay for a third round…

Just want to make sure I get grey after all this time and money…

Oh! Gray is such a hard color to do. I’ve I nky seen it turn out if you lift the color so much it’s white first. If you don’t mind possibly having to cut damaged hair you could just try, but gray is tough.
