40mm chrome vs 45mm powder coated?
Hi! I currently have a 40mm chrome xstage lite. But I would like a powder coated one, which is only available in the 45mm size. Is it grippy enough that the wider circumference isn’t a problem? My hands are the weakest link in my poling haha
As far as I can tell, the sizes are interchangeable on the stages.

No….I love my 40 and 38 pole and even with a powder coated finish it’s just not the same…to me anyway.
You could always have the 40 powder coated by someone or order another 40 chrome and have that one powder coated. I’ve had 2 xpole pole PC by someone else and it turned out great. Just be sure to explain the type of grip you want and they can help you decide on the type of finish, not all Powder coating is the same.
