I’ve actually managed to find an XPole – Xpert (Static and spinning) Gold 45mm for very surprisingly cheap. Although I’d like it to be a surprise I think you make a great point of getting her input. So rather than present a finished room that might not be quite right I’ll have her judge the size and finish to see if she wants something different before committing.
