    That depends on where you are. I don’t know much about the US but in England you’d have to have insurance, a valid first aid certificate and a ppl license – if the studio is not in a gym you’d also need another license to be able to play music but I can’t recall what it’s called at the moment.

    I’ve just re-read your post again, do you mean to teach and set up a pole school or just for you to practice? If it’s the former then the advice above stands. if it’s the latter I’m not quite sure.
