I'd like to know this; I'm considering making a pole podium as a hom project this summer, customise it and all but I'd like to know a bit more about x-lite and r-poles too. I quite fancy an r-pole if they're safe enough, would love to pole in the park.

I have used one, It's really nice in my opinion. Here's a video I did on one: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZM0fMyAlEew (You can skip through my silly intro)
As you can see, the pole wobbles a little, but the base never moves, and I was throwing all my weight into it. Wonderful product in my opinion.
Also, I had never set one up before, and I got it all together in under 20 minutes.

Thanks for posting that Ember! Beautiful dance and was nice to finally see the X stage light in action! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_heart1.gif

Ember – were you on the 50 or the 45? I just ordered the 45, it should be here Thrs or Fri!!!!!! I can't wait!!!! Gorgeous dance.!!!!
-
Charley –
Where did you order yours that you can get so fast? I thought there was a long wait.
-
I thought there was a wait which is one of the reasons I didn't order one. I'll be curious to see if you get it so quickly. Hoping so.

Is there any place, studio or whatever that you can just walk in and buy a stage or the only way is through shipping? https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_e_confused.gif

Not likely to find places you can walk in and buy an XStage as the cost of stocking those creates really high overhead. We keep several XPerts in stock but that's all.
There is no wait right now for the XStage or XStage lite…they just updated stock. Once they run out there is usually a bit of a wait in between orders.

Charlie. I was on the 45:) I love it and I want one now…maybe after taxes:)

Awesome Ember! I thought it might be a 45. You know for a 10ft free standing 45 – there wasn't that much sway in it at all! A lot less than the Star Stand Alone at 8ft, lol!
-
@Flexx – I did sell the SSA – I didn't get very much for it but I put it all towards the x-stage. I can't wait to get my X-stage!!!!!!!!
-
UPDATE! My X-stage Lite was shipped Friday and tracking says it will be here on Thursday!!!! No wait list!
-
A new studio in town just ordered a bunch of them and they are due to arrive Tues or Weds of next week!!!!
-
So there will ba a chance to just pick it up from the studio? Instead of shipping?
-
I personally havent used the lite one but ive seen it in action at Ms Tri-State. I was really impressed with them. They are done the same way as the orgin x stage, and they are sturdy. I really want to play on a lite but I dont know anyone personally so I could try it out. (perfect excuse to go to MI to see Charley??? lol)
-
yea i'd love to play on one to so i can see how i like it :)))

LOL Mini! I got it, it's up. It's HEAVY, it's kind of complicated the first time and took me a few seconds to figure it out.
One go on it and it's so solid! I love it. Yes there's some wiggle but no more than the X-stage. I got the 45 and it feels soooooo solid. BIG difference from the SSA. The SSA was so wobbly that I just imagined ALL freestanders would throw you off of them. It's a great product!

Yay Charley!!!!!! So glad you got your pole 🙂 Can't wait to get one myself!!!!!!!
