  • Help me win a year’s Free pole fitness classes and donate the cash value to breast cancer research

Hey, guys, I have entered a competition the Pole studio I attend is running on facebook to win a year's free pole classes and I am hoping some of you at least will help me out.  I am donating 25cents per like to Pink Pole Power and if I somehow manage to fluke it and win I am going to donate the cash value of the lessons($1500) to Breast cancer research too.  I figured since I have already budgeted to pay for the classes it would be a much nicer thing to donate the money somewhere that it will do some good rather than spend it on something frivolous like shoes(although shoes would be very nice of course, lol!)

In order to vote you have to 'like' the studio's page on facebook

then you have to click on the picture I have posted there

(Barbara Henderson, it's the one with the breast cancer logo watermark just in case the link doesn't work)

Thanks in advance to those who can find it in their hearts to vote, breast cancer research is a subject I am very passionate about since it took my mother from us and I also had a battle with it and lost part of my left breast.  Help me to be able to afford to donate more than my usual monthly donation to the cause.  Every little bit counts!

Well I hope you can do it, I only have 80 fb friends and I can’t even get a ‘like’ or a comment on my status’ from majority of them :-/ if I thought they’d be more helpful I’d put a link on my page!

I know just how you feel.  I have sent out what feels like a million, and truthfully probably runs into at least a couple thousand, individual mails on my facebook account and about 90% of them are ignored.  I did have one lovely lady who told me she could not vote for it because she was a woman of god and could not vote for stripping who when I mailed her back explaining it is pole fitness not stripping not only voted but asked if I knew anywhere near her that she could go to take lessons!  I directed her here to ask if anyone here knew, lol.  I feel very disillusioned with the lack of caring nature people have shown on facebook though.  The game requests keep on coming and something that could actually make a difference in the world gets completely ignored.  How sad.

Awww that’s so sweet about the lady! Hehe!
Yeah I have had alot of nastiness caused by so called good ‘friends’ on Facebook. It has been a rocky road the last few months being badmouthed and bullied online and had horrible untrue rumours started and spread round about me 🙁 all because I didn’t like the way my best friend had been acting and she was being a total hypocrite. So I bought up the issue with her and BAM she did a full jeckyl & Hyde on me! I’ve never seen anyone be so nasty ever!
Mind you, I’m 29, she is 28 and it made me feel so down and out and like I was in highschool again!
Needless to say, I had to remove a good half of my fb friends due to her lying and bullying 🙁
Sorry, that was a bit off track…you’re right though, some people on fb just don’t care, and it is sad.
What you are doi g is such a great thing and you should feel so proud to be a wonderful caring person.
The world needs more people like you xo 🙂
