Had no clue where to put this, but I just finally watched the season premier of Americas best dance crew. And….Theres going to be a POLE CREW!!!!!!!!!!!!

    http://www.mtv.com/videos/americas-best-dance-crew-season-6-ep-1-lil-wayne/1661539/playlist.jhtml#name=shows

If you want to see it, they dont preform for the first time until next week but you see them in the intro of it twice. They call themselves Jag6ed and are from LA California.

They will be on next weeks episode Thursday April 14th around 10pm depending on your time zone on MTV.

I dont know about everyone else but I am stoked to see this happening!

Anyone that hasnt seen the show, it works a lot like american idol where you can vote for your favorite crew to help them advance in the next round.

Crap, of course the site doesn't allow me to watch it from here.

Fingers crossed someone will put up a torrent, or it'll appear on megavideo or the like!

I'd love to see them compete!!!

    @ EVamp83:

I live in France atm and I watch a bunch of american tv on watchseries.eu , and I checked, and this show is here http://watchseries.eu/serie/americas_best_dance_crew .  One thing that's good to know is zshare, loombo, frogmovz, and karambavidz are unlimited timing, but megavideo and vidobb and some others are.  if one doesn't work, another link usually will.

Thanks for the link ennifer!! The links themselves wouldn't work, but typing and browsing did the trick. Hopefully they'll be quick to post new episodes! I usually use free-tv-video-online.info if I watch anything online, but they don't do ABDC. On that site I always try to use the other suppliers (eg. zshare) if available for exactly that reason! But I mostly prefer torrents for vid quality.

Thanks so much for the help! Can't wait to see our fellow polers perform!!! https://www.studioveena.com/img/smilies/icon_cheers.gif

I saw it. I am a big dance nut—did various forms of dance, drill team, dance squad/team and cheer growing up and I've been watching ABDC since season 1 and have even seen several of the crews that have won on that show perform live at disneyland. I was happy that polers were on the show and had made it that far because that really is a huge accomplishment and really says something in itself. But I was really disappointed in their pole routine & dance execution, it was just "ok" and for ABDC it's gotta be more than "ok" to stay on that show and I realized as I watched them perform that it really felt "off" them being in a competetion like that…it didn't seem, feel or look like the right fit to showcase pole fitness.

I totally agree with you, Cali. Their show was neither very "pole" nor very good. I don't know why their routine was so … well, let's just say it, lame, they could have done better. It wasn't a good picture of pole dance either. Well, they're dismissed anyway, aren't they?

I was excited to watch the show and have to agree it felt anticlimactic. There was too much going on, and the choreography seemed forced and choppy. They have some videos on YouTube that are phenomenal so I was surprised at how.. Tame? Their routine was.

I don't think pole was the right style for ABDC. Here is the youtube video of their performance….http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOeRsTXu1V4&feature=player_embedded

while it is quite an accomplishment for them to have made the show in the first place, i felt their routine didn't do the huge wealth of pole talent in the pole community the right justice 🙁  i am also worried that this was the producers' nod to pole, and that it won't get another shot…  while V may be right about ABDC being an odd forum for pole, I still think there could be a crew that goes out there and bowls America over.  Think about it :  a crew made up of Marlo, Kyra, Michelle. Zoraya, David, Jungle Cat…. I believe they would be ridiculously phenomenal….

oh, and other polers of the same caliber as those I mentioned — there are certainly many more I failed to mention, but I was sort of using those guys as an example….  there's also alethea, karol, amber, leighann….. the list goes on !!

I agree that their performance wasn't exactly super impressive but I still think they should have made it to the next round simply because of the uniqueness of the dance style.  Also one of the judge's comments were completely inappropriate!

I love this video on YT, look up “poling around town: jagged” posted by poleites. This dance shows awesome contemporary dance fused with sleek, slinky pole tricks.

Jayjay, I agree with you! They are dancers who are learning pole (though a few girls are great and seem pretty advanced, the rest still look new to it). I would love to watch a show with all the top pole dancers together! Maybe they will make “dancing with the POLE stars!”

Jessie, are you referring to the Judge D-trix? I thought his comments were derogatory.
JC Chavez impressed me when he said, if you were at the circus a pole would be no big deal to dance around 🙂

I just think they should have been on a different show. After all isn't their focus contemporary style dance with pole?

I obviously had been really looking forword to this. But I have to say Im with just about everyone else here….it just wasnt working. I mean on one hand I am very happy to see that we made it to prime time TV, and millions of people got to see what pole dancing really is, which is a step forword in my opinion. I just wish it could have been…well no disrespect to Ja6ged, better? I have seen though watching many of the woman, and men on here videos, let alone the YT vidoes I have seen where, if they had been more experianced they may have been able to blow the judges away. They all have training in ballet, jazz, hip hop, ect. They could have easily encoporated some of that into their performance, but they didnt.

My husband who acutally watched it when it came on and recoded it for me to watch when I got home from work thinks that they may have choked in a way. They got the song, had already see what the performers last we had done and just didnt live up to their potential, sense they do all have background in dance. I think that they just got way too hung up on trying to make it not look sexy that they forgot that it still had to blow the judges minds.

What JC said was compleatly right, especially about the walking around. D-Trix, I didnt realy care for his nipple comment but you do have to cut the guy some slack he was dumbfounded. I really think he was trying to to insult the girls and say it was just a bad perfomance and didnt know what to say so he just blurted out whatever came to mind.

As for the interview (thank you Veena for posting that). I am a bit shocked on how it seems like they just blew off what the judges said. Maybe its just me, but it sounded like they were pretty much saying "Oh the judges dont know what they were talking about and just voted them off because we pole dance." Altho what kinda ticked me off what them being asked if their song selection if they felt it was a set up, and them agreeing. I was embarrased for them watching that interview. Ladies you were in a dance competion, and I really didnt see much dance, pole or otherwise.

But either way, it was nice to see on nation tv. But it just didnt fit in with what ABDC is about, and I wish it had been showcased a bit better.

Sorry for the novel, just wanted to get all that off my chest.

Speaking of shows with just pole…does anyone know what ever happened to Jenyne's show that was taped and never aired?
