Fleur - nice work girl! I can tell you are applying the same technique to the elbow grip as you do for the forearm grip but they are actually quite different, in the elbow grip you don;t want your body to be close up to the pole! Try doing your caterpillar, at its highest point your hips and chest will be away from the pole, at that point you hook the elbow while keeping your body away from the pole adn then release the legs. try it, the further away you are, the better the elbow grip gets.

blondebird - Thank you fleur! Yes i do do the elbow and forearm grip with the same technique, i find the elbow grip so scary! i've only recently got it, i will try the catterpiller up then and try n get my body away from the pole. Thanks for the advice :)

blondebird - i went the highest i can go for the move to look good, i went right up to the top and the damn ceiling got in the way of putting my legs out. Have you tried this yet?

blondebird - Id say strenth, keep practicing and if you are kicking up to get up slowly decrease that kick over time :)

TrophyWife - yeah I can lift of the floor, but im stuck in chinese flag cant get it above hip level haha but I havnt worked it in quite some time...you've inspired me!! Its an impressive move, yours looks super strong!!

Trena - Great stuff! Im ever so jealous of your TG Lift! Fleur said everything I wanted to say about the elbow grip! :D Try it, the grip will feel more stable the further you are away from the pole!
