Since it looks as though circusy stuff is also welcome on this site, I thought I'd upload a vid of my new toy!!

ThatGirl99 - Oooo! You guys hoop around here too? Awesome. I just started hooping before pole and got stuck trying to learn the vortex, then found my pole!...Maybe you have hooping tips...going off to look, but if you can teach the vortex, that would be awesome

Schtoffen - Easy peasey once you know how... grab your hoop in front of you horizontally...both hands togther...palms up. Lift the hoop so you're holding it above your head in front of you, keeping it horizontal. Let go with your first hand (if you waiste hoop right to left then thats your right hand.) Turn the hoop down your body until your second hand is level with your bum, palm down. Place your first hand next to your second (so both behind your back now), palm down. Let go second hand. Turn hoop back up your body and meet it where you started.

The key to this move is grip.. when you first learn the move, grip very hard to keep the hoop h6orizontal. Once you know it and get some momentum up, you need barely touch it. Happy hooping!! xxx

ThatGirl99 - Your tips give me hope. I have to keep working on maintaining the grip horizontally for a longer time-I hoop clockwise and am lefty so learning this may be confusing me. Gonna get back to hooping on my between-stretching days as long as I have the time right now til school starts in 3 weeks ..ACK! thank you so much

AriFerrari - Um! Awesome! I especially loved hearing the person filming say "I wouldn't try it" and bam, you drop that baby right around your neck :D This is really cool!
