My freestyle from this morning. Working on feeling and emotion. Sadness, frustration, Betrayal, loss are some of the things I tried to convey. Hoping the viewer can see the these "feelings" through my dance. It was a challenge because I'm not sad right now :) but I wanted to see if I could put myself in that place to create that kind of emotion......I would love to perform more and I think that "feeling" the part not just "acting" it, is what makes a good performer. If that makes sense? You'll also see my new combo added to my Veena Tumble (it's near the end in purple) I had to record it separate because I needed to change the camera angle to fit it in the screen. Hope you like it!

You def. did show the feelings of sadness in this video, even if you really weren't sad :) I think more dancers should put "feeling" into their dances. I feel so many pole dancers now are too focused on doing tricks.

XxMyztikxX - oh it totally makes sence veena... i went to bellydance workshop where it was just based on emotion. we werent acting. but we practiced feeling anger...sadness. happy.. excitment anything u can think of. an the things we had to think about to get us to that state of mind was pretty intense. And practicing that really does help in putting it into your dancing. this was very beautiful and i loved it =) I can feel it even tho u werent sad.
