This video will explain the structure of the static and spinning pole lessons. When viewing the spin lessons remember the 3 types of spins listed in the video. Not every lesson will include spinning pole. This video will also serve as a guide for deciding when to spin. Remember most SPINS ARE NOT BEGINNER POLE WORK.

MemphisKitten - I wish I would have had a subscription to this site when I first started in January! Veena covers so much, and I probably could have avoided injury if I had the tips to listen to before I attempted some of these moves. (Coming down on your head from an inversion is not pleasant and pretty darn scary!) Thank you Veena for providing all these great tips and instructional videos!!

Tasha J - Thank you sooo much for this, Veena! I took my first pole class at a local studio and the first thing she taught was the fireman spin. I thought something was wrong because for the life of me, I could not get it. Turns out, I wasn't conditioned enough for it. You're amazing!

Colada - I live in Marlton Nj so can you tell me where the closest studio is for a newbie who is excited about getting started? I found you by chance & I am & have wanted to pole dance for yes. I'm a 59 yr old woman in decent shape. Do you think I'm too old to be doing this? In my head I'm still about 35 yrs old. LoL I'd like to feel that way physically & think it will help me to achieve that goal or as close as I can get to it realistically. Thank you for your advice, ahead of time!

StudioVeena - Hi Colada, I don't know of any studios there. If you have a home pole you can always check out the lessons here too. :)
