Waist hooping is a great starting point for all body hooping. Hooping takes coordination so give yourself time!

AerialGypsy - Are the hip circles meant as a quick trick or are they actually supposed to be used to push the hoop around? When I try it, my hoops just falls to the floor.

StudioVeena - You can use them continuously to push the hoop around. The hip circle method is the most difficult I feel. Your making small pelvic circles.

PoleWings - Are weighted hoops ok to use just on the hips, not other joints?

StudioVeena - Yes, you can :) I just don't suggest weighted hoops for the lessons because its very hard to use them off the body or anywhere other than the waist and hips. Not that you can't use them but you'll get big bruises! lol
